Smells awesome in here right now!

A three finger pour of OFBB13, followed by three fingers of PHC7, and now finishing the evening with ETL. Life is good.

More of the TPS 1792, this time with some VOB BiB (3:1 blend). The VOB nicely fills out the mid-palate on the 1792 without adding the youngish note that I got with the Col. Lee. Will try the 1792 with a smaller amount of Col. Lee tomorrow night - and by the time this experimenting is done, this TPS bottle will also be done!

Hitting on a Maker's 46 at the moment. Been a fan of this whiskey since Day 1, and it's doing nothing tonight to lessen my appreciation for it. Very butterscotchy for me, tonight.

ECBP 137 while a bit more simplistic and a touch drier than batch one, still a fine drinking whiskey and has Stagg Jr. beat hands down.I added a bit too much water the first go around,I still feel the 134.2 deals with the addition of water better and in no way muddles the flavor, this batch is just a bit more particular in this regard.

Gave LSB13 Rye a shot earlier and thought it was fine, but a little chalky, if that makes any sense. Followed with some Faultline which I found to be excellent in its imminent drinkability. Just the kind of bourbon you want to be sipping over and over. Now I'm on to ECBP137, coincidentally, with Ryan.

FRSBLE13 to finish the night. It's just better than everything. Today, at least.

Did I say "finish the night"? I meant, drink prior to having some TPS Old Scout 7 year 115 proof.

Ryan, for me the 134.2 was a pop and pour neat. Just so drinkable. The 137 I take the easy way out 1) choose glass 2) drop in 2" cube 3) add EC. Slow dilution does the trick for me at least.

I finished my bottle of Ezra Brooks 12 year. It was fine, but I don't see replacing it anytime soon.

Plus, have a bottle of Black Maple Hill to fill it's spot on the counter.

Monday Night Football last night; the Pats just didn't put together a winning game, but it was a treat watching Cam Newton at QB for Carolina. Libations included OFBB'11, W12, Mellow Corn to go with my popcorn, and W12 to round out the night.
