jwacky
EW White and some Baker's. The EW BIB is just awesome for the price. The Baker's is highly underrated IMHO. Just doesn't get any love, but has a nice spicy wood thing going that I enjoy. Couldn't agree more about the EW BIB, it's one of my go tos and it's finally becoming more widely available in Southern California! As for myself, I'm having some KCSB tonight. Added a bit too much water while trying to find my 'sweet spot'. I don't quite like it neat, but just a splash takes some of the heat off for me. Guess I'll just have to keep adding more until it tastes right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
T Comp
Small sips of several, getting the palate back on line, as the cold/flu from hell meant no bourbon for a week. Stagg Jr. takes the crown tonight among some serious contenders...yep...I like it a lot, cut to 107 proof.

hn4bourbon
Enjoying some WT80 from the 90s. The brown label. I know lots don't enjoy it but I do...at least this bottle. It's got a great nose and the flavor is very good as well:)

393foureyedfox
Dickel 9/103 again. This gets more enjoyable every time I try it. The nose, still, isnt all that great, and seems a bit like chemical-alcohol-ash (best I can come up with...), but the taste is great, and the lingering taste is, honestly, one of the best I have come across. I hope they keep this available regularly.

Eskwar
As with DBM, above, my strategy leads me to Tom Moore BIB (like a higher-proofed, but younger and cheaper, VOB or 1792) is nice enough to sip straight, but inexpensive and strong enough to put into Manhattans, Sours, and (my latest experiment this week) rye-free Sazeracs

Flyfish
Booker's neat. I know some of you think that taking it neat is only for manly men but my wife likes it that way too. She's no girly girl. Even so, we sip it slowly to good effect. Not trying to prove anything. Just like it like that.
Old Dusty
Small pour of Lot B upon the demise of BX. Seemed appropriate. Although the cynic in me says Craigslist and other avenues will continue to serve the demand.

Just like it like that.IS there any other way to drink good bourbon?Had my last lecture class of the semester today. I poured a fat neat Larceny. It's not bad, much better than I remember it being, but still my least favorite of what's around here. It's been open for about 6 months, and for some reason seems 'hotter' than 92 proof tonight....which may be why its not so bad tonight!
