Grass Widow Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Two James Spirits, in Detroit. It's pretty decent for a crafter. Not their distillate, I'm sure. They're too new. Reminds me more than a little of Buffalo Trace.

Picked up a Lot B for $42. This place does it by email and the Lot B was my 4th choice (VWFRR, PVW15, PVW20). Guess I should be happy to get anything but I'm still a bit disappointed, especially about not getting the rye as that is the only one I've never found a bottle of.

Got a PVW23 today from the manager at my local store. I think he kept the velvet bag though, but if that's all he wants as the price for saving me a bottle - well worth it. It was $229 before tax, which seems really low to me. Is that low or is that the non-markup price?

EC18, mellow corn, and 2010 bday bourbon. Interested to try the EC18 after passing on so many of the EC21's for almost triple the price

Nice pick up on the EC18, I imagine you'll enjoy it. I've passed on all the EC21's I saw too, but wouldn't pass on an 18 at the original price.

I've yet to try mellow corn myself, but it's on my list.

Picked up a bottle of 2013 George T Stagg from my favorite manager for $99. He sells everything else at very reasonable prices and was nice enough to hold the bottle for me. Still can't find ECBP in Georgia though.

Picked up a OWA, WFE (4yr) rye and a FRSB gift set. Plan on using a significant portion of the OWA for the SB blend. The gift set came with a couple of nice 125th anniversary glasses to add to the collection.

As I ripped through my first bottle of Jackies FW&S 4R OESV in record time, I felt it was time to pad the bunker with more, today. . Added a '13 Lot B, as well. Of all the '13 VW's, I'm most anxious to try this one. Lot B has been the bellwether Van Winkle, for me. And, I'm pleased to say that to this point, so far so good.

Went to Costco and got a Maker's 46 as a thank you gift for a friend who did me favor (he's a bit of a bourbon neophyte but i think it will suit his palate. Since they were under $30 I figured what the hell, I need some wheater in my life, so I bought myself a thank you gift too.

Two Weller SR 375 ml from Keg Liquors in Clarksville, IN. Couldn't determine which distillery it was from (SW vs. Bernheim), but I didn't have time to do the research before I pulled the trigger. Not regretting it. Anxious for a relative to bring it to me as Xmas.

As far as I'm concerned, WSR is a great value wherever it was distilled. Can't go wrong.
