Bowman Gingerbread Beer Finished. This is a beaut.

I heartily agree! Shared some with a friend this afternoon, along with Ginger's more darkly beautiful (smoldering?) port finished sister.

On topic? Trying to decide what'll go best w/ a side of Justified.

Beam 12yr, Weller 107, now Weller 12. The WLW '11 is calling my name.

You are on the right track!

Putting back some Willett 9yr 128.6 proof. Needed a little extra octane tonight to fight this cold weather!

I am sipping on sample of the newly released port finished bowman. The nose is a little soft, but the palate and finish are really excellent.

Just moved to a sample of WTKS. Fitting it was bottled on Valentines Day 2006 as I am only just beginning my love affair with WT. Really delicious stuff.

Traveling for work, brought a small bottle of jim beam distillers select for my evening pour

Would like to hear what you think - I had the same last night; about the third or fourth pour from this bottle. Gets a few marks for being 90 proof and age stated at 7 yrs, but it seemed surprisingly lacking in the mid-palate and a bit hot and edgy on the finish. I found the EWBiB White Label head and shoulders above this one and the EWB was close to $9 less. A bit disappointing since I really like JBB 8 yr and thought it would be much closer to it, or somewhat like a Baker's with a bit more water. Will set it aside for a bit and come back to it in a few weeks.

Have not tried Mellow Corn, but everything else is in my wheelhouse. My source for dusty Ten High straight bourbon finally dried up. OHH 8/86 is a beautiful versatile pour. EW1783 is a welcome addition to the MN cannon. Have you tried the EWBIB? I think it is outstanding.

I bought a liter of EWBIB at the same time as the 1783 and I guess I must have liked it a little better because it's already gone. I agree it is pretty good.

Emptied a bottle of EWBIB last night watching Klondike and yes it is outstanding and a helluva value. Opening a handle of OGDBIB tonight for the conclusion of this show.

My wife's been on quite the run the last few weeks. She's brought me home bottles of KC120, EWBIB (handle), and Kirkland's. I had been wanting to try to the Kirkland's for quite some time, so that was quite the surprise.

There's something odd about the Kirkland's brand, in an interesting way, I mean. I know it's Beam juice, but the finish reminds me of Woodford Reserve. It's odd... like if somebody poured me a 50/50 mix (of younger versions) of KC100 and WF. It's quite enjoyable, different than the juice I usually keep around. Especially nice for $19.99 for 1L.

Wyoming Whiskey just appeared in Utah, so I tried some at the local bar, glad I didn't have to spring for a whole bottle. Tastes like a smoother, more buttery Beam white label, but just as young. Not even sure what a 750 would go for, but I'll bet it is a "craft" price.

I will comment after tonights pour. The side by side I want to try is distiller's select 7/90, kirkland 7/103 proofed to 90, and bakers 7/107 proofed to 90.

Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2013. Really amazing pour. Tons of vanilla in the nose and palette. The finish is a bit wimpy, but everything else is amazing. Really loving this.
