Kyjd75
Not bourbon, but rye. SA OS 120 proof 8yr. My next-door neighbor died this afternoon. 41 yrs old. Stage 4 breast cancer. 3 year battle. A husband and 3 young children. My wife was one of her caregivers at the end. A very sad time for us. The rye helps ease the pain.

MyOldKyDram
Ugh. My sympathies to the both of ya. Lost my Mom to cancer 5 years ago, and my Dad is currently being treated for a tumor on his spine and an unrelated mast cell lymphoma. Sucks doesn't begin to describe this disease. Think I can squeeze in a pour for each of ya tonight. Peace, thoughts and prayers.

horn1602
Some 4RSmB followed by SAOS 7yr. Seems that the 7yr is the only variety available around here unfortunately.

Max Power
I'm having James E Pepper with Coke Zero. It's not that it's bad...it's that I just needed something to drink in 16 ounce form instead of 3 ounces...and the price seemed right to do so. It's not as good mixed as WT101, but it's decent. 393foureyedfox
felt like having a high proof kick to the jibs, so I poured a half ounce or so of Booker's and am sipping on it

393foureyedfox
How's it working for you tonight? As I recall, this is your usual out at a restaurant pour?good memory!while out at a restaurant, I usually try something new to me. If there's not anything new or interesting, I'll get something I know I like (which is usually WT101 or KC, something you can count on being at every restaurant). While at our favorite place, I used to get Booker's. Now that I learned they had a 'make your own flight of three for $15', I usually get three of something new. I typically won't order something that i have at home, and since my in-laws gave me a bottle of Booker's for X-mas, I haven't ordered any out since then. It's nice! It was my favorite for most of last year, until I discovered Dickel 9 year. My taste for barrel proofers has given way to 100 proofers, though from time to time I still enjoy the richness of a BP bourbon, in which case I grab the Booker's or KCSB....at the rate I go through it, I have enough KCSB to get me to the next decade. My wife and I keep a list on the dry-erase note board of our favorite bourbons (me) and wines (her), so we know what the other likes, and so we can tell others what the other likes, for gifts. I updated mine today to1, Dickel 9 year2, HH 6 year BIB3, WT 1014, HH 6 year 90 proof5, KCthough you appreciate the sentiment, you kinda feel funny when someone gives you a $50 bottle of such-n-such, when you'd have been much happier with the $10-$20 bottle of such-n-such Edited March 20, 2014 by 393foureyedfox

dSculptor
Been feeling the back end of this miserable cold for weeks now (no such thing as a common cold anymore). Anyhow I thought I would bring out some heavy hitters last night to try and chase it away... Started with some ETL, then went to WLW, and topped it off with a generous pour of PVW 23. All is well.
