Met Mrs Fox and her coworker after work for drinks, and kept my wheater trend going. Tonight it was Old Fitz 12 year. Honestly, I think I preferred the Fitz BIB, but didnt see tons of difference anyway. I was actually wanting to get a pour of MM46 again, but since I just tried Fitz BIB the other day, I thought a comparison was in order before I forgot it.

Now I wonder how a Fitz BIB and Larceny SBS would do.......

Smooth Ambler cask strength rye (8 years, 120.2 proof) chosen by Astor Wines. I've been wanting to try their stuff for awhile and this definitely doesn't disappoint!

It's only 11:52am but it's Saturday so I am having a taste of my vatting of 2 parts 2013 BTAC William Larue Weller and 3 parts Old Rip Van Winkle 10/107, neat.

I belive it comes in at 118.6prf.

Opened the rock hill farms I picked up yesterday for a little taste before my afternoon nap. Such a good pour. It's been too long

EWBIB in an Old Fashioned with a splash of simple syrup and a few shakes of Angostura regular and orange bitters. It is very good!

Sipping on some 2013 OFBB. I swear I read in here somewhere that somebody recommended a 50/50 blend of 2012/2013 OFBB. I'm thinking about doing that with the rest of my 2013. Just doesn't do it for me.

went out to dinner with the wife and some friends in celebration of their wedding. put a halt to the wheater trend and ordered a neat OGDBIB, as I hadnt had that in a while. Tasted hotter than I remembered, and quite spicy - it was about as opposite the wheaters Id had lately as I could expect.

I wonder what a 50-50 OGD 80 and OGDBIB would be like.....

Good, but not as good as the OGDBIB. Where I am, a guy can take a 20 dollar bill and come home with a proper BIB that needs no adulteration. I assume that the same mission could be achieved in the Commonwealth for a ten dollar bill and a well placed wink.

Well, I recently got two bottles of '12 and a bottle of '13. Once I've sampled both of them, I may have to give that a shot.

Today, I'm partaking in national margarita Day, (though i'm definitely missing that smooth, sweet american Bourbon)...

Had a lot of great pours last night courtesy of Binnys and their magic cart and some generous SBers. PHC1 (third dump), Willett 8 yr #795, WT8/101, FR LE SB '12, V23 bourbon, SW Old Fitz BiB, VWFRR, Mattingly and Moore, Hiram Walker Private Cellar, ND Old Taylor BiB, WSR7 (Louisville), OWA7 (Louisville), Weller Centennial (Frankfort) and I'm sure that I'm forgetting a few.
