fishnbowljoe
Decent day at work for a change. :skep: Lunch was provided by our company in celebration of employees completeing 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service during the past year. We had salad, bread rolls, red potatoes, mixed veggies, roast chicken breast, prime rib, and cheese cake on the menu.:yum: Everyone was in a good mood. Celebrating myself a little after I got home from work with a BIB night. Old Forester BIB is first on the list.

jonhalter
4 oz of 4rsmb mmmmmm. Followed by Dant BIB. Dant is usually enjoyable but just ok after 4r.

horn1602
Opened my first RR10 tonight. Was not impressed with it neat, but the second pour had a bit of water added to it and it seemed like a completely different bourbon to me. Opened up very nicely with just a bit of the Turkey punch to it.Next up will be the CEHT SmB nightcap. I'm a month behind on the BOTM.
393foureyedfox
Sampling a bit o Larceny tonight, pondering if Ill grab more with the new rebates. With the 1.75 rebate it comes out to about $8.50 a 750.....not bad at all. its gotta be one of the heaviest 1.75 bottles Ive come across.methinks a new one may come home soon.the only thing on the shelves that im contemplating bringing home is MM46. The $31 tag is tempting me. Edited February 27, 2014 by 393foureyedfox

BonVivant84
Started with GTS first and now trying a side by side of RHF and CEHTsmB. Hard decision Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DrBob
Had a few friends over to sit on the patio with cigars and whiskey, and I put a bottle of Wathen's SB and Taos Lightning on the table. Both serviceable but not remarkable. One of my friends brought Fighting Cock, which brought a smile to my face as I was smoking a Ghurka Ghost and it paired quite nicely with it. The $31 tag is tempting me.Bloody hell, I'd snatch someone's hand off for MM46 at $60 over here! It goes for somewhere near the $100 mark. Anyhoo, last night reached for the Willetts Pot. Added some ice for some strange reason - not bad though. Sent from my XT890 using Tapatalk Edited February 27, 2014 by roaringboy
Yeti
Got invited to an impromptu tasting before dinner last night. Great lineup. I had some Booker's 25th, PHC POH, Jeff 25, and Crown Royal XO.
GaryT
Did a little blind SBS with my ol' standby SB Blend (60/40) and a 70/30 mingling of the same (both heavy on OWA). The 60/40 seemed to have more bite tonight than the 70/30, which blew my mind. I preferred the 70/30, but going to do this a few more times before making a larger batch. AaronWF
Last night saw the end of a bottle of OGD114, '09 Pappy 15 and WFE 11yo. The last pour of the Pappy and WFE were each the best pours of their respective bottles. The OGD114 was pretty consistent throughout. Now I have room to open up some new ones tonight! (Though I'd be better off continuing to work on what I already have open.)
