Having some FRSB OBSV gift shop bottle.

Dan, there was a rumor that they gave you your own express checkout lane at the gift shop. True?

Not exactly, Eric. I actually just text one of the gift shop employees which bottle I'm looking for and they just bag it up and hang it on a pole out by the front gate. I just drive by and pick it up, they have my credit card on file, it's just easier this way!

Been feeling bit in a rut lately. So, for a bit of a change dug out something new but old from the stash.

OFBB 08 got the cork popped. Nothing like last years monster release. First impression is that's is quite bright. Light fruits, bit vapory on the nose with alcohol.

It's got some potential I think, needs some open glass time to ponder it.

BHC OCPR I wish I was drinking bourbon when this was still gracing shelves I can't get over how truly great this stuff is.

Glut whiskey. I'm with you wishing I was a consumer then. But it's great to sample those little time capsules when you can find them. Cheers!

Eagle Rare this afternoon, pretty, pretty, pretty tasty stuff.

Sorry, was watching Curb Your Enthusiasm while drinking.

Best regards, Tony

Love that show. I've realized that in my life whenever I face a situation in my life that is awkward or uncomfortable, do the EXACT OPPOSITE thing Larry David would do. It'll work out for the best.

Anyways this is what I'm up to tonight

Enjoying some Elijah Craig 18 and thinking about what a great value this stuff was for $45.

Started with some PHC6, but for whatever reason it just wasn't making it tonight. Went to FR125th and all is well with the world again

Enjoying a very tiny pour of some ORVW15/107 (L'Burg) that I received from a very generous SB'er.

I only say tiny because it was from a sample bottle and need to make this stuff last for April! :)

I was having some 4RSB last night. Normally I have it neat, but I tried it with a small splash of water and was surprised at how much it popped. Very nice.

FRSmB (again) - I remember a bottle of this a couple of years ago that I thought good, but it didn't wow me. My tastes must have changed because I'm going back to this one more and more.

Cracked open one of my bottles of OFBB 2012 today. Not too shabby.

The 2013 will be next...

Scanned the bar tonight and saw that my bottle of Blanton's was down to about one pour so decided to finish that off, especially since I have a couple in the bunker. Interesting that I'm getting a fairly noticeable mint flavor from this pour, but the bottle has been open for a long time. Will have to compare to a new bottle shortly.

I had a couple of Wild Turkey 12yo, neat.

Now I am sipping 2012 Parker's Heritage Collection, neat.

Kinda decadent for a Monday.

Working away tonight while I savor Old Scout 10 year. This is my favorite daily pour, especially since it is easy to obtain. BTAC is reserved for special occasions, not for drinking alone.

As good as I remember...it's been about a year since I've had any that old. Liquid candy with a slightly nutty finish.
