tylermke
Sean, the Tornado is overrated IMO. Great story weak bourbon. YMMV.I loved the Tornado the first time I had it. But each time after it's been pretty average. I agree though, YMMV.

DrBob
On travel for two weeks, and threw a bottle of bulleit in my suitcase for nightcaps. Its drinkable neat, hates water, and tastes a little young. A couple of years back this was my go to, and now I am looking for a coke to mix it with. Tastes definitely have changed. oke&coke
This Rock Hill Farms bourbon is spot on gorgeous, this evening. It's saying something when a $50 whiskey is drinking even more richly...What viscosity! I'm not sure any of the bourbon from the sides of the glass are ever going to make it back to the pool left in the bottom. :yum:I like finding bourbon in my glass after it has been sitting empty for the last 20 minutes. lakegz
Picked up a liter of Woodford Reserve from the duty free shop at O'Hare on my way back to Beijing. Has been about 8 years since I last had any and can't even recall what they tasted like back then. The one I opened last night however was pretty flat. Sweet and easy to drink yes, but pretty lacking and one-dimensional. Reminds me of a neutered OGD 114. However, I did like the initial nose on it as it was very bright and fruity, if not a little too sharp after the first half-second of smelling. Put it in the meh category

smokinjoe
Sippin' on a newly purchased bottle of Bulleit, while relaxing after a day on the road. Unfortunately, this whiskey seems to have lost it's sparkle. I've also notice this in recent pours at various bars and restaurants. Muted nose, just decent over my palate, and total loss of the bling on the finish, like I remember. Seems like a watered down version of it's past self, and painfully dull. Too bad, really. One, damn nice bottle, though. And, I don't mean that facetiously. I appreciate a nice presentation, and the Bulleit package has been a good one since going to this style bottle.
