Sours, wilds, commons, Lambics, etc. are quickly replacing IPAs as my constant. To that end, having a Jester King Boxer's Revenge. Pretty fantastic. Funky, but the sweetness of the wine finish, aging really balances it out.

Enjoying a nice trainwreck red from Crooked Fence. Great color and just enough hops.

West Sixth IPA tonight.

Looking forward to trying their third canned release, the new "Lemongrass American Wheat". Even though it doesn't sound like something I'll dig I gotta support 'em and at least give it a try.

I've had it at the brewery. I don't like wheat beers in general and this was no exception. Still, sure I'll buy a sixer in support too.

I picked up a 6er of Schlafly AIPA whilst in Springfield over the weekend, bottled 1/30/14. Tasty stuff, but the Zombie Dust from 1/21 still kills it.

FW Wookey Jack right now. Utterly fantastic. So much going on but none of it is at odds with one another. Roast, char, hops, creaminess. Could use more rye bite but I say that about all rye beers. Great stuff.

61 degrees Fahrenheit = Stella Artois Cidre while grilling. And a Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout after dinner. Creamy dessert in a glass.

Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree. The entry is very low keyed but look out. Flavor develop and stay in your mouth longer than any beer I can remember. What a great finish.

Also at 12%, his one sneaks up on you.

Not cheap but I'd like to get another 4 pack tomorrow.

Agreed with all you said on this one. I buy 'em when I see them.

Great description. That's a sharp beer, definitely aggressive and can be real satisfying sometimes.

It's hard to find a bad Firestone Walker beer. Hmmm, and I've got some DBA and DoubleJack sitting around, just begging help my improve my outlook. Guess I'll have to open one (or two) when I get home!

A couple of New Belgium Snap Shots and a Bell's Two Hearted this afternoon. Nice thing about working from home is when a couple of co-workers decide to do something profoundly stupid I can scream at them (without being overheard) AND have a beer. Ahh, now to fix what they did.

Having a 2012 BCBS before dinner. Haven't had one of these in a while, but the extra year definitely tames some of the alcohol.

Grassroots Brewing Arctic Soirée. This beer is absolutely gorgeous and it smells like a Brett Margarita. Sadly it tastes much more mundane than all if that. Not bad but...

Wow, that looks beautiful. Is Grassroots a KY only distro?

Nah, they're out of VT. We get very little of their stuff here, actually. I only see it every so often.
