RWBadley
Id like to try the 14 year, but Im too cheap. The 9 year is about as much as Im willing to spend on a 750 of anything.Plus, the 14 year vanished as soon as it hit the shelves in Louisville. Ive never seen one.So how is the 9? The 14 is pretty good but at the price of $69 I probably won't repeat the buy.
Bluffhunter
Purchased RR1B before prices going up like the others. One of my regulars WTRB just went up to $39.99 Ugghh!
RepTucker
Picked up a case of VOB BIB with 6yr age statement and Abraham Bowman Gingerbread Finish. Saw the 9yr and 14yr George Dickel Private Selections, had to pass them up on that day. They had plenty of both on the shelves, may go back next week. GaryT
You should treat yourself to a 14-year when you finish school! I second that - when I was working full time and going to school nearly full time, I splurged on my first (and last) PVW20 (at retail, but still way over my typical budget). Especially if the 14 yr might not last until then - better to have it in the cabinet as motivation
clingman71
Got a surprise call from one of my stores, they were still drawing for PVW, so I got an unexpected 15 today.

adub23
Stopped in at lunch to a local store to do a favor for a friend and they had 2 bday bourbons on the counter. A 2005 and a 2011 which were 2 of the few I was missing from the lineup. Guess I had some karma going for me today!Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
DrBob
A second bottle of EWSB 2004, the first was good enough that I went back for one of the same bottling to archive. This one was barreled 4-2-04 and bottled 12-2-13, barrel number 188.

Jorgemu1
Picked up my first bottle of EWSB 2004. Can't wait to taste this against the 2002 and 2003 bottles that I have.
Old Dusty
Picked one of these up today. After cracking it open I wish they had more. 9yr, 125 proof wheater. Yummy Really great bottle. Polished one off and two in the bunker. It's got to be BT. I've shared with multiple folks and we all agree it is not HH. You basically have a young WLW or a barrel proof SB blend in your hand there. Enjoy! BTW pick that up on my side of the river?

I brought it back to its native home It's terrific and I agree it's BT. I wish I could have gotten more than 1, but it didn't come cheap so I don't know if it was feasible anyways. Old Dusty
Last one I grabbed from IN was also a 9 yr but barrel 2370. Any you Hoosiers know anything about this one? Sean, does it have a "selected for" sticker on the back? Like Crossroad Vintners? They are KBD's distributor for a big chunk of the state and you may be able to call them about the barrel pick. He is their whiskey guy and probably was in on the selection. He is usually pretty responsive to email. Nice guy.
