jwacky
there is a white label 80 proof HH, that looks a LOT like the white label 6 year BIB. I dont know if Binny's has the 6 year, but if they can get the gold label, I dont see why not. The gold isnt bad at all, just a little younger and harsher.no, its not bad. To me, its very similar to Fighting Cock but with more of a drop in bite than youd expect for only 3 proof pointson a side note, next time you guys do a group buy, try to get yourself (in addition to a white label 6 year BIB) one of the green labeled 90 proof HH's. Thats a real steal at $9Appreciate the tip re: HH Green label!
smokinjoe
My Alabama mule followed up his delivery of Dixie Dew last week, with a couple bottles of Virgin 7yr 101, today! :woohoo:In 2 weeks, it's 4 bottles of whiskey for a grand total under $60. Cause for celebration, in these sometimes dark bourbon times.

JonRob
Got lucky today and found one bottle of Old Weller Antique hanging out on the shelf. Can't beat it for $21.99. Also picked up a handle of Old Crow Reserve for mixing.

Tony Santana
Dusted off the wallet and sprung for a 90 proof BTEC wheater, aged 11 years 7 mos. And a bottle of 4R SB for $28.99, a price too good to pass up (at least around here).
DrBob
Jim Beam Signature 12 yr, thought I would give it a shot, only seen the brandy flavored one previously, and not real interested in that.
BonVivant84
Last night grabbed an Old Scout 10 year Cask Strength Single Barrel select from Astor. Lots of good talk on here the last week about OS so when i saw it... was definitely the one with the most promise on the shelf. Although i wake up hours later and now the same bottle is $12 cheaper for a Vday sale. Guy talked to me (said he was the main whiskey guy), let me try a sample they had and didnt say a word about it. I know he didnt have to say anything, but he definitely knew and i feel kinda pissed and a bit like a chump. I spend a ton of money there, and at very least i think a....... hey why dont you stop by tomorrow for this would have been good customer service. And i really dont get it cause saying...Hey tomorrow all American whiskey is going to be 15% off would easily led to me spending at least $100+ more stocking up on different things for the bunker and things i had been on the fence about trying. Bluffhunter
With price bump on Bookers to $56 and already having KCSB I opted for a FRSB for $33 and WTRB for $34. Figured a 2 for 1 purchase-more is better in this case.
