KyFriedChicken
Picked up a bottle of the 3rd edition William Heavenhill Small Batch (less than 12 barrels) today. It's finally at a price I'm okay with paying. It's 132 Months old so it's a lot younger than the 18 year Signature, but I could never pay $450.00 for that bottle either. 100 proof BIB. suntour
sweet. i saw someone post one of those on the notorious exchange site and instantly many were like "its just mckenna in a better bottle to sell to tourists" and honestly half the people didn't realize that HH's one mashbill becomes Elijah, Evan, Henry, etc. I for one would love to taste that bad boy. Classy packaging as well.

theglobalguy
I've had a pour of the 18 year and enjoyed it, but would never buy it at the crazy price they were asking. This was a little stretch on price, but hey you only live once. It's close to the Promise of Hope price now. Also very tasty but 1 bottle is enough for me. I can't imagine it letting me down....it's bourbon! They happen to explain the brass tag? My wife picked me up one, so I wasn't able to ask the gift shop. I thought maybe they intended to put bottle "X of Y" on them and then changed their mind.
DBM
I've never seen a Four Roses Private Selection with these "stats" before - OBSK, higher in age, lower in proof. It drinks really nice.
jeffrey r
I have an OBSO 9yr 8mo at I believe that same exact proof, 104.4. The proof doesn't scream barrel strength, but the taste does. Rich, chewy and intense flavor. Don't know how they do it, but they do.
squire
That's a very low barrel strength, which says a lot about entry proof and warehouse location.
bigtoys
here's an OBSK 11 y 9mos, but it's 60%
GaryT
The proof/age in FRSBs have a few variables. While single story rickhouses are used, as Squire points out - the difference from the top rick, nearest the wall to the bottom rick in the center is a factor (not to mention when the aging took place, etc). Still haven't meant a barrel proof FRSB I didn't like though
kjbeggs
So, it feels like I haven't bought anything in foreverrrrrrrrr........I actually got two bottles of OFBB 2012 and one of 2013 last week, but they were sent to me by some online friends, so I actually paid for them almost two weeks ago.Just happened to notice a local store has EC 21yo for $129, but I just can't decide whether to pull the trigger or not (maybe get some AE Rye instead).I'd love to get some ECBP, but can't ever find it in these parts. black mamba
My local had Bernheim Wheat Whiskey at 25% off so I grabbed one for $26 + tax.
upStomp
On a snowy lunch break today:CEHT SmB @$45. And I can't seem to stop buying up the Dickel Rye @$22 (I bought another 2), but it looks like now I'll have no choice as I only left one bottle behind. Bluffhunter
Just had some CEHT SmB the other day, tastey stuff. To me seems like regular BT but the honey barrels.

qcityking
Hi all,First time poster here from NC. It's amazing to read through this thread being from a control state. horn1602
Finally found some ECBP (133.2 proof, batch 3 I think...?). Had to grab 2 even though I've never had it. Left 4 more on the shelf. Despite never having it, I love EC12 and for a mere $12 more figured it had to be worth it.

Bourserker
Recently picked up an ER10 based on the thread or two I saw that insinuated possible shortages of certain items, of which I think ER10 was mentioned. Don't want something I can get easily now to suddenly disappear, because if it does I'll be kicking myself later.
