jwacky
A 2003 EWSB to side by side with some 2004 I bought a couple of weeks back. Also replaced my empty WTRB with a full one.Curious to hear your side by side comparison when you get around to it.
wildcatdon
Weller 12 and I am not too sure why I bought it..I like it ok,i guess it's because they don't put it out too often.
whiskeyagonzo
I wondered into my local LS with no intent to buy anything. Mainly just to nose around. I usually go in expecting just my usual standard offerings. Today I see some Booker's 25th. Long story short, I brought it home with me. I have been critical of Beam products in the past but heard some good notes about this one. So either I will be eating crow, or just irritated at wasting my money on yet another sub par Beam offering. I really hope I'm eating crow :-)

No_Reception
Shitty day at work so I figured a bourbon purchase would brighten my day.Grabbed another PHC7PoH and another OFBB13. Both go straight to the bunker as I have them open already. Good day.
Richnimrod
Scooped an 'extra' H. McKenna SB, BIB along with a couple of 'extra' Stagg, Jr's. Almost left the Stagg alone; but, as I have only a little left in the open bottle, and only one in the bunker; fearing a shortage (as many so things recently) I grabbed 'em up. The Stagg isn't my favorite straight up; but it is a wonderful mixer and has a good potential for vatting.
mbroo5880i
The Stagg isn't my favorite straight up; but it is a wonderful mixer and has a good potential for vatting. I think Stagg is great when vatted with other BT mashbill #1 products, especially regular BT. Mixed to about 115 proof...umm, umm good.

suntour
After some hand-wringing, I finally caved in and bought Booker's 2013-6. I also had intended on purchasing a store-select EC12, but no dice on that.I'll make sure to bump the thread with my thoughts re: the roundtable bottle. TXLandman
First post here. I've gained an insane amount of knowledge about bourbon in the past few months from you guys, so thanks for that. Great day for my collection, the wife got her income tax refund and went and picked up 5 bottles for me without me knowing. Devil's Cut - had a mini a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it so I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a 750.Woodford - my second bottle, definitely one of my favorites.Weller 12 and OWA - for my first shot at the SB Blend!Booker's - I was excited to try this for the first time but apparently the cork was no bueno as the very top section attached to the plastic piece broke off leaving the majority of the cork still wedged in the neck. Hoping I don't have a problem exchanging it.Thanks again for the wisdom!
BTshorty
Bought a Dickel12 for my wife - first bottle of whiskey for her EVER! She had some on the rocks w/water this weekend and actually LIKED it (I must have finally rubbed off on her after 35 years!) Also got gifted a bottle of Glenfiddich 18 from a friend. Although scotch drinking is relatively new to me, It was quite tasty! (Had to crack that right when I got home!)

corpse_welder
The only whiskey I keep bunkered is any of the Wellers I come across. My local store gets 1 bottle of Antique per shipment so I found a 1L today and snatched it up

upStomp
Julio's kicked off 'Go! Whisk(e)y Weekend' today with a 10%-off-all-whiskies sale. I picked up some 4RYL, BT, Dickel Rye, and 4RSB (and I've got a case of 4RSB on its way).

Trey Manthey
I've never seen Abraham Bowman in these parts, so when I saw the Gingerbread Beer Finished release today I decided to give it a whirl. $77 before tax, but it's been so long that I've tried a new bourbon, I couldn't resist. z327
Weller 12 at $23 it's a must have for my bar. As I've been working my way thru every gold medal winner (San Fran Spirits Comp 2011 & 2012), I've started a list of what Bourbons and Ryes are a must have and plan to replenish those and let the others disappear to never return.
