Picked up a liter of Weller 12 at $32.46 (tax included). Thought about getting a couple other bottles but decided to pass...

Booker's 25th Anniversary for $100. I'm looking forward to seeing if the juice is good enough to justify over twice the price of the regular!

Today's pickups. Think I'll start with the High West.

So you spent a little money!

Never had the 21-year but enjoy the 18-year! Starting with the HW sounds like a good idea!

My first bottle of Booker's. I believe the is the roundtable version which is the 2013-06 batch if I'm not mistaken. Also picked up a barrel pick of BT as well.

2 Weller 12's. Got the email this morning that it was back in stock at Total Wine so I ordered online with store pickup for later so as not to take the chance they would be gone.

FRSmB and an Eagle Rare 10.

Best regards, Tony

Oddly enough, I followed up my tasting of the High West with some Eagle Rare 10.

I liked the High West better of the two.

Didn't get the EC21 cracked open last night.

Picked up some Old Forester Birthday. Never had it before, but it was on sale for $45, so I figured I would pick it up. Is $45 a good deal for the OF Birthday?

Had a good day. Went to pick up the two Weller 12's and found a 4R OESQ barrel strength store select. Dropped by a different store and picked up two ECBP's and another Weller 12. There will be a lot of SB blending in my near future.

That is what I picked up one of my bottles for last year. Seems to be a good price compared to what others have had to pay.

I was at the Binny's get together yesterday. I know I surprised at least a couple of people when I purchased something that wasn't a wheater or BIB. I bought a Binny's FR's SB. It was an 11 year old, 103.8 proof, OESO recipe. It harkened me back to the 2008 FR's Mariage', which I liked, so I decided to give it a try.

Cheers! Joe
