The 4 bottles in the back came home with me over the past few days. This was a single barrel pick done for a WI distributor. It's an 8yr at 122.8 proof and is absolutely delicious.

And as good as they are, a few of these are finding their way to new SB member homes. :)

Those look and sound great Tyler!

Picked up an EWSB and a WR Double Oaked. They had a 2011 WR Masters's Collection (the two 375's of rye's) that I didn't get. Kind of regretting it now.

You made the right decision, especially if it wasn't marked down.

Had a good shopping trip yesterday. After passing up WT101 @ $29.99 Tuesday I found two stores with ample inventory @ $19.99, got one bottle from each store. Also picked up the only bottle I saw of HMckBIB (old label) for $30.99 and a HH grn lbl (only HH label in the 3 stores) for $11.99 and finally my first ever bottle of OF100 for $23.99.

Five bottles, a little over $100, and some damn fine Bourbon to enjoy.

My biggest problem is that although I have 9 dealers within 20 miles of home all of them now have owners with the same last name.

Kind of a restricted competition so pricing in general is higher than what my SB brothers south of me see but due to SB I can avoid overpaying for bottles like std 4RSB @ $79.99.

VSOF 12 and ECBP 133.2 proof. Left a few ECBPs on the self. I have a case of the 134 proof all ready.

Three bottles isn't that much. I wish I had picked up more when I had the chance ~6 months ago. Good score though!

I though they were 6 to a case, but maybe I confusing them with Stagg jr.

Unless the offer is too good to pass, stay independent, my friend! I follow your store on line. I live in Indy but one day I will pay a visit! You are doing things the right way!

Got me an ETL and a J Chef's collab.(I was skeptical about this one but we had some right away and it was really tasty, quite a different nose to it,and well balanced.)

Thanks for following.

Staying independent, local and "made in the US" is the intention. Everything is for sale so I can't say that we would never sell.

I guess we'll know, if the four roses single barrel price jumps to $80. But then the joke will be on the buyers: I would stop buying there on principle, and I imagine others would, too. As it is, I'm thinking of dropping by when I'm in the area sometime this summer.

A 4R Private Selection OESK for $47, jackpot!

If this is in Louisville, could you PM me and let me know where this is. I will be driving through Louisville in three weeks. Thanks.

post-10866-14489820610196_thumb.jpgTechnically not purchased today, but made a few additions while I was in Illinois.

Visited the Binny's in Bloomington, where my bottle of Barterhouse was waiting for me.

Also grabbed a 2013 Parker's POH, a 10-Year Old Scout, and a Russell's Reserve SB (which was my nightly pour in IL).

Sister-in-law from Tennessee brought me a bottle of DrinkUpNY's Hand-selected 8-Year Old Scout, and a couple bottles of Ron Burgundy Scotch (for kitsch-factor).

Also found a small bottle of Crown my Father-in-law stashed in his workshop before he passed away seven years ago.

Binny's had several bottles of Stagg JR, and lots of Jefferson's Ocean II, but I passed on both of those.

After reading about the WT101 / OFS blend that a few people are really digging, I went out for another WT101 and my first OFS. I found another WTRB for $28, and a CEHT Small Batch.
