What Bourbon did you purchase today? Winter '13-'14

After passing on it for multiple weeks, I've finally given into curiosity and purchased a bottle of Old Fitzgerald's 1849. Opened it up to give it a head start on a little air-time. Plan on tasting it with VSOF 12 tonight. I figure, hey, I haven't bought anything in a few months, what's a $15 gamble? Plus I love the old Weller bottle and just polished off my last paper-label OWA so its helping curb my sadness.

i too saw the $5 rebate tag a few weeks ago, but upon reading it closely, the rebate expired in december. is yours still valid?

Last week, thanks to the generosity of a fellow local SB'er, I secured a barrel proof, private selection 4RSB OESF (10 yr, 3 mo) for $40. It's my first ever if these and I'm psyched.

I caved and picked up the Booker's 25th at BevMo for $155. It's not their fault the bottle is 50% more than in any other state, and it's my fault for living here. That was my rationale anyway.

Went to an excellent wine and spirits place and was pleasantly surprised to see they still had some ETL on the shelf. I grabbed one bottle but left several behind, along with an Old Blowhard (at MSRP, but just no desire from me to get it). Ahh, Mr. Lee, we meet again!

Got calls from two different stores about a bottle of booker's 25th at each store. Passed on several they recently called about, so, I figured I would spend some money with them before they decide to stop calling me about stuff coming in:) so, booker's 25th X2 came home with me.

Picked up a bottle of age stated VOB in a local liquor store. It was 90 proof 1.75 Liter for 24.00. The last age stated VOB they had in any size and strength. I am a happy camper tonight.

Bookers 25th had to have one since Bookers was the first straight whiskey I ever had in a bar (very early in my whiskey journey). I asked the bartender for something good in a bar in Savanna and was a little overwhelmed by the heat.

Bought a bottle of the 'orphan barrel' (Bullshit, I'm sure) offering; Barterhouse...and, a bottle of a different one, with which I'm entirely unfamiliar called Waitsburg Bourbon, made by Oola Distillery in Washington State. Anybody heard of this? Know or suspect anything about it?

Picked up a bottle of Dickel 12 today on the advice of many here and as a result of my pleasant experience with the (long empty) Store Select 9 I got a while back. A little pricey @$30, I think. If I like it I'll have to start shopping around.

Also picked up another spare OWA, which is now fully stocked at my favorite haunt.

I also noticed my local store fully stocked of OWA. Still no standard BT which has been vacant for months, so I switched to ER10 and have been happier anyways for same price.
