RVTsteve
Others will be able to answer more thoroughly but yes they did. I have a bottle from 1980 I think and it has an 8 yr age statement and if memory serves it says the year of distillation and bottling.

BonVivant84
It seems as though the distributor in NY is going through their 2nd allocation of Sazerac Co products. Got a call from a store manager and picked up a PVW15, GTS, and Saz18 today, was a pleasant surprise. Was this in the city or upstate?
TunnelTiger
Staying away from the top shelf, and frankly there wasn't much up there that I didn't already have, a 750's of Old Tyalor 8 yr, OGD86 8 yr, OGDBIB, VOB 6 yr (last one on shelf) and a 1.75 of VOB 6 yr which was also the last one on the shelf. All the others were just the big 6.

On a side note have not seen Blantons for quite some time there/months is there a shortage from BT on this juice also?
BonVivant84
Just grabbed at Rock Hill Farms for $49. Have higher expectations concidering there are some really good ones in the $30-$50 range.

I think the only difference between it and Blanton's is where they are stored.

No Joke, I saw a place that had it marked $125 Insanity!

mbroo5880i
Enjoyed a nice visit to the Motherland today while my son interviewed for medical school. Ate lunch at Havana Rumba in Middletown area. It is awesome! Visited several stores. My wife probably expected me to come home with a box of bourbon but I chose to keep things reasonable. I only purchased two bottles. An EC12 Single Barrel store selection and an Evan Williams Single Barrel 2003 store selection both from the same store in St. Matthews. That is a give away to the locals. I considered other bottles but chose to save my money for future trips.
sutton
A second EW1783 and two VOB 86 proof 6 year old ... left one VOB on the shelf. I haven't had the 86 proof but I do enjoy the 6yr BIB so figured I better pull the trigger, I doubt that shelf gets replenished with more age-stated product. It also occurred to me that recent events this year have helped me build my own dusties without dusty hunting VOB BiB, AAA10yr, OHH 8/86, maybe HH BiB 6yr, and depending on how the new WTR101 works out, a few of those as well. Throw a JWGreen and Gold in there as well ...
