Just picked up a Booker's Batch 2013-6, which I gather is the Roundtable batch. 125.9 proof, 7yr6mo.

Hunted all day in search of Weller 12 and came up empty handed. Did end up with an age stated WSR. Passed on a bottle of Lot B at 249.99 and Stagg Jr at 149.99. If your in the KY area and interested send me a PM, no way I was will to pay those prices.

Must be an eclipse...I know it's not Groundhog Day....not yet. This kind of thing happens to me so infrequently...that I'm the beneficiary of what must have been a mismark - CEHT Barrel Proof, $39.99

Has anyone tried the 2013-6? From what I have read this is the "round table" batch. I purchased a bottle last week for $39.99 just because I thought it was a good price on Booker's, this was before I heard it was the roundtable batch.

Stopped by a major chain store on a lark and found three bottles of ECBP (Batch #3, 133.2-proof) sitting on the shelf. I took them home with me. Left the Booker's "Roundtable".

Picked up the last bottle of Weller 12 at my local bottle shop. Last place I've seen it recently, so couldn't pass it up.

Didn't pick them up today, but earlier in the week I got Weller 12 x3 from my local store. It hadn't been in long and I cleared the shelf.

Picked up a Willett FE 4 year rye. Thought about the HW 36th vote, but couldn't pull the trigger.

Picked up a couple of bottles of the A. Bowman gingerbread beer finish bourbon yesterday. Couldn't wait to try it so we popped it open for a taste. Plenty of gingerbread on the nose but the palate seemed to be a bit of a disappointment. A perfectly respectable bourbon but little to none of the nose carried forward to the palate which made the cost a bit out of line for me. Perhaps I had put too much expectation on it.

Still looking for the new Port Finished Bowman with hopes it will live up to my potentially excessively high expectations! :skep:

I absolutely adore the port finish. Wish I would've ought more. So to me, at any rate, definitely worth the price of admission.

Met up with fellow SB member whiskeyagonzo as he passed through Lexington and he brought me a couple Weller 12s. Always nice to put a face with the names on the board.

Was across the river into Illinois-land for a training session and popped into a store to grab some beer that isn't available in Missouri. Saw three bottles of 2012 OFBB. Took one of them home but left the other two on the shelf.

Nice find. How'd the beer hunt work out?

Pretty nice - couple of Flying Dog's (IPA and In-Heat Wheat) and some Dogfish Head (Pilsner and IPA) plus a Stone Götterdämmerung bomber that I haven't seen near me in a while. The IPA 6-packs are already hurting since my wife and I both love 'em!
