jersey12
Picked up a family sized Bulliet for 42.99. Really an easy drinker that I'm always happy to have on hand. 2014 has been the year of the middle to bottom self for me and I'm really enjoying it. jmj_203
So I went to receive my limit 1 ETL Com, which took me clicking nonstop on the state site for 2 hours to get 1 to hit my shopping cart, and realized 2 special orders had been there for a week. This answers my HH options in pa and excited to have it all. what to do for the next year...
flahute
A bunch of bottles in the last couple months, many thanks to some great SBers. Heck of a haul. All of it is good. Jealous of the Midwinter's and Faultline as I can't find them here. (Hopefully Midwinter's makes it this way when it's released nationally.) The vintage Turkey must be good. Enjoy! flahute
2 Stagg Jr.'s. I enjoy it with a splash of water or a little BT mixed in. I'll probably try it with ER10 mixed in as well this time.

But I'll tell you what, I really dig the new Rare Breed too. I hope to come up to Seattle in August. If I do I'll pour you some samples from the old ones. What kind of cycling do you do? I also have a mountain bike, though I don't get out on it much. I need to fix that.

Renegator
Picked up a Barterhouse this week. Somehow missed out on trying it up at the Gazebo on Sampler weekend. I tend to like the longer aged stuff...

k1052
K&L Faultline, FR SmB, and two bottles of NAS Johnny Drum. I did not really care for the NAS Johny Drum the first couple times I had it, figured it would end up as a mixer. I came back to it after a few months of being open and had an entirely different (favorable) impression.

mosugoji64
Picked up a bottle of "Copper City Bourbon", distilled here in Arizona (which I didn't know they were distilling out here!) and the guy at the store swears it is only sold here in AZ (which may be true - or may have been true when he first got his shipment). "Over 2 yrs old" (so 2 yrs + 1 day), 90 proof "barrel-aged straight bourbon whiskey" (as if you might have straight bourbon whiskey that wasn't barrel aged?) The guy at the store talked it up as unique since it is aged out here in the desert where you get really hot days but fairly cool nights. Looking forward to cracking it open next weekend when I get it back to GA.

jmj_203
Got 1 of the just arrived Rare Breeds. Store listed 2 online, but the staff couldnt find them. Found behind the counter, the mgr was saving for some lady but she remembered how much bourbon I've been buying lately and said they could sell me 1. Never hurts to ask, now if Pa could get a tiny alottment of ECBP I would bet set.
GaryT
Wish I had known you were in town, Gary! Would have been great to get together. Hope you had a good time while you were here! I read an article about the Copper City guys a while back and, IIRC, their bourbon is actually distilled in NV. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts as the price has kept me from pulling the trigger on that one.I enjoyed Tempe, although I was keeping to EST hours while out there (getting to our partner's office at 5am, leaving between 2-3pm) so I didn't get out to do too much. Although y'all have obviously hunted it pretty well already (I did spend Sunday hitting stores in the area to no avail). IMHO, save your money on the Copper City stuff - tastes just like you might imagine a 90 proof, 2 yr bourbon to taste like (aging it there didn't make it taste any different to me - maybe added a bit more bite to it). flaminiom
Finally found an ETL Commemorative bottle. Store had it for $50, which seems high. They're usually pretty good though on price. Bought one to keep building a relationship and get them thinking of me when special stuff comes in.
