jmj_203
Found one ER10SB next to all the new ER10 so picked it up, might never see it again...A store by my office had about 8 bottles, I didn't grab one though. I'll hope there is some honesty in us still seeing those for awhile with lesser quantities of the non SB bottles. Anyways I was there to grab an OGDBiB handle for $32, to refill my almost empty 750 on the bar. Almost grabbed a Knob Creek single barrel I've never seen before, but haven't heard thoughts so I had to pass at 46.99, for now....

mbroo5880i
But, you will drink it eventually. That's all that matters. The first two are great. I haven't had the Beam Signature but have heard good things. I like variety so the more diverse the options the better.
KyleCBreese
Let us know how that Johnny drum is, also have been curious about itNot impressed at all. The nose has a weird vitamin-type smell and the taste is a little harsh. Definitely won't purchase again.
DaveOfAtl
I really like the Beam Signature 12 year. Speaking of Beam, I bought a bottle of Knob Creek for the first time in three years when I pulled into Destin, FL for the holiday weekend.

Brisko
Store selected BT single barrel and (same) store selected 4RSB. May post elsewhere about these. Last week, Old Fitz BIB. Much improvement over the past few years.

petrel800
Pulled off the interstate a few miles S of Cincinnati to fill up at a Kroger gas station. Saw a Kroger liquor store and figured I head in to see if they had anything. Found a Bookers round table on the shelf for sub 50. Figured I'd snag it. Hitting the party source in the morning on the way to Dayton.

Very similar to Booker's to me, but that price is crazy. Here, KCSB can regularly be found for $36, and Bookers for $43-46. If you like one, youd like the other. petrel800
Which batch? Just curious if the new stuff is hitting. Any sub-$50 Bookers is a score these days!
petrel800
Grabbed a party source 1792. Haven't ever really been a fan of the 1792, but the man at the tasting counter made me take a whiff out of the bottle. Definitely unique. Has a banana thing going on, so I tell him I'll try a sample. A little thin, but definitely a unique selection. Otherwise, the party source is a sad place these days compared to the good ole days. Guess its a testament to the popularity of the spirit now. Cigar Dan
In NOLA for the weekend and spotted a bottle of Stagg Jr in a wine shop near my daughter's place. It was nice to grab another bottle at a decent price. Edited May 24, 2014 by Cigar Dan better wording

mbroo5880i
My guess is we will see a transition to less standard SB bottlings. However, there should still be retailer select SB bottlings, which is what I buy anyway.
