bourboNcigars
Went to 2 different binnys and a liquor barn near me all within about 5 miles, first binny nothing special but I did not want to leave empty so I bought the last 2 bottles of OGD114 they had for $24.99 the manager said he's surprised how fast he sells it and even more surprised it's harder and harder to get in..then 2nd binnys nothing special there so I left with nothing and last stop the LB also nothing to speak of other I finally scored a ECBP for $50 and they had 1 bottle of saz rye for $35 but I already have 2 bottles not opened yet and don't know if I will like it or not before stocking up..not a bad day..up to 5 bottles of my OGD114 that I'm in love with now lol

Thig
On a business trip to Atlanta didn't find anything interesting. Did pick up a FRSB, EWSB 2003, EC12, and 2 bottles of Rittenhouse Rye BIB.
HighInTheMtns
I did not want to leave emptyThis is a hangup you've gotta get over if you want to keep your money. It's even harder to leave with nothing when you're in a small store.
Pudsky
Old Ezra Brooks 7 yr 101 proof, and met a guy in Minneapolis and traded for a Barterhouse. I've wanted to try that but can't buy it here in MN. Looking forward to opening both. Edited May 29, 2014 by Pudsky added essential info
GerryM
Just picked up a regular ETL for $26. Made a mental note to go back and pick up some Booker's (2013-6) for $38 and FRSB for $29.I'm noticing a few pretty wide price variations in my area vs other parts of the country. The prices mentioned above seem to be very competitive while others such as OW12, EC12 and a few others seem to consistently be priced well above the average. amg
That Booker's price is a steal. I can get FRSB for that price here, and I can't find ETL at all right now, though I'm sure it will be back eventually.

garbanzobean
Passed up multiple Barterhouse bottles at $109.99, as well as an Elmer T. Lee commemorative bottle priced to sell at the speed of a moving glacier ($89.99). Went with an Old Granddad 114 for $25. Not a great price, but probably the best I'll get in Maryland. Especially now that the word is out.

garbanzobean
Smooth Ambler OS 11/100. Somewhere a Yeti lets out a satisfied roar of approval.:cool:A local liquor store (Perfect Pour) is trying to get a Smooth Ambler Single Barrel. Word on the street is the SA rep said they'd have 10+ yr available. IF YOU'RE LISTENING SMOOTH AMBLER, PERFECT POUR WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HAVE A 10 YEAR, BARREL PROOF SINGLE BARREL OFFERING! I'm pretty sure an offering of such epic-ness would attract bourbon anoraks from all over the area . . .
kwshannon
Purchased 2 bottles of EWSB 2004 from the local grocery store. They had done a barrel selection recently. This one tasted more vanilla and toffee, and less peppery than the standard EWSB 04 I had recently.
