7 and 11 year old. Not sure on the pricing. I bet I pay the higher amount for them.

Guess I now know why the full 11 year WFE I put out on the gazebo table Friday was an empty bottle in one night .

I missed Crown's local release event of the whiskey of the year tonight because I had to work. However, I consoled myself yesterday by picking up a bottle of their EC12 store select (very good) and Smooth Ambler 8-Year Cask Strength (excellent).

You should publicly shame them on their Twitter feed. They seem to really value the publicity and it may actually get you a response.

Where? Maybe a phone call regarding my barrels is in order.

The Barns. Think they made these picks like almost two yrs ago.

Wow, thats a poor business model! Isnt that some form of bait and switch? Were there contracts signed?

Seriously, if you wanted an 11-12 year old barrel, youd likely have picked an 11-12 year old barrel. What you get could be starkly different than what you picked! Maybe you can pick your own 5 year old barrel by tasting new distillate today!

Woohoo! 2X ETL and 2X ETL Com. Wow it seems like forever since I've had a taste. Seeing them sitting side by side on the shelf was just striking.

Giving OGD114 a try. I have yet to have it, but with all of the talk around here, I had to give it a try.

Look forward to your thoughts on it! I don't have it by itself nearly enough (I use it in my bourbon balls and some other things, but for the money - hard to beat!)

On topic - picked up an ETL Commemorative on the way home. Thought for about 5 seconds if I should open it or not, and decided that was a stupid question

Why can't my Costco get deals like this? Same old thing, Woodford, Maker's and Beam.

Find the manager and show him the pic, maybe that would work

CEHT Small Batch for $40 out the door and a lone ETL that was left on the shelf.

The max they offered at the time was 10 years. I don't think the willett family single barrels are kept in the rafters of the rickhouse so i wouldn't expect it to change much. I just hope they have good yield.

Owner emailed me when he got in the ETL Com, so I went home with one of those. Hooray!

Picked up a dusty bottle of EWSB vintage 1997 from a local craft beer store. People know their craft beer here but luckily not their whiskey.

Edit- my wife bought me angels envy yesterday. Nice lady, that wife.

Kearly, I used to be that guy. Wonder how many bottles of Weller Centennial I passed over looking for old bottles of Rogue Imperial Stout on shelves. Sigh.

A bottle of Buffalo Trace and a large Elijah Craig 12 yr.

Still wondering how to build up a reserve of anything, the aliens sneak in at night and snatch some, so I just can't seem to get ahead.
