Having some John J Bowman Single Barrel. I opened this bottle up sometime last week and keep coming back to it each night since.

Elijah Craig Commemorative. Definitely one of my favorite pours of 2014 so far, at any price point.

Wait...wha? You mean Elmer T Lee Commemorative or did I miss something?

This is actually brilliant, think of the bourbon confusion we can cause the lurkers . . .

Tonight I'm having some of my favorite from the Parker's Antique Collection . . . George T Weller Blend of Mashbills. Tasty stuff.

Spent some time unpacking the bar after our move and figured, a nice pour of EC22 was just the right selection for the night cap.

Went with a strong pour of my 50/50 mix of W12 and OWA... It keeps getting better

weller 12 for starters, always felt like it had a flat taste but this time (decanted after bottled had been open for half a year) it's surprisingly good!

Some "modified" AAA 10-star. I experimented a while back with something Ralfy had a vlog on (toasted a birch stick and soaked it in rum and Frangelico, then toasted it again, etc). It does add a different dimension, but wouldn't say it "improved" it. I'll drink the results, but won't bother trying on others.

charter 101, only had a 1L and 0.7L so far and the 1L is so superior! pvw15 now, always a pleasure.

I'm having a pour of a PS FRSB while making a batch of chili. :yum: :yum: Double yum. One for the bourbon, and one for the chili.

Cheers! Joe

Made a whiskey sour with EWB and some freshly squeezed lemon juice I had leftover after making salsa.

I believe there is scientific evidence to the effect chilli is a nutritionally perfectly balanced food the exclusive intake of which results in good health and long life. The same studies show that a proportional amount of Bourbon must be consumed as well in order to reap the full benefits.

I shall aim to comply.

Drinking Ritt BIB right now. Yes, it's not a bourbon, but to me it sure drinks like one.

Your last bottle?

I got a handle in a trade and decanted the final 750. My first and likely last as even the KY guys are now saying its a goner. And those who have it in their bunker likely have guard dogs on it 24/7. I would.

Sipping on some Willett 2 yr Rye. Excellent stuff! Great nose and taste. Really makes me question if all that aging is necessary when 2 yrs makes this stuff taste so good.

Knob Creek Single Barrel. I bought this one a couple week backs after a thread here on SB made me wonder why the heck I don't have a 9 year old, 120 proof expression of Beam.

Man is this a big bourbon. Very sweet delivery, with the signature KC heavy oak and spice finish. I must have snagged a particularly good barrel, because there is damn near zero alcohol burn. Hard to believe its 120 proof. I've had many a regular KC bottles with more heat than this one. I'm impressed.
