Solid day for the credit card. Continuing the journey so all of these are new to me. Picked up Baker's, Rock Hill Farm, Noah's Mill, and Baby Saz.

The journey is the fun!

Found an OFBB 13 today. Very pleased with that.

One that I wish I would have found! Enjoy!

Grabbed a bottle of EC12 and a bottle of Old Overholt. EC is one of my personal favorites, and I've never tried OO.

poor soul......OO was the only whiskey that I actually dumped out before, but current OGDBIB is about to join it on the list

Apparently another supply of Barterhouse was found, or at least released from the distributor in St. Louis. While picking up a 4R1B 2014 LE being held for me I was offered another bottle. I like the first, so hey, already in 3 digits, why not?

Joining the GBS crowd in picking up my ration of the Four Roses BP OBSK and OESO. New candidates for a Wednesday tasting!

Where did you find the OESO, or is that frowned upon to ask? Also, how do I find out info on the GBS?

Both were private selections for the Georgia Bourbon Society. One OBSK and one OESO. Reach out to smokinjoe if you are interested in the GBS but don't bother looking for bottles. They were allocated way in advance.

It's clear I should have spent 10 bucks more and purchased the KCRye instead. Curiosity got the best of me. I'm not to the point of dumping it out, but it may stay in the cabinet for a good while.

Well just like the OO you really have to try them to know whether or not your are going to like them (that's where all the fun is) and I love rye it just that KCrye isn't one of them. But that's just me, you may love it.

Been looking for EWBIB for a while since it became a national release, finally found it on the shelves, for $11 a liter. So I went overboard and bought a case.

Great price. I've been known to buy good deals by the case, you didn't go overboard. You are a smart consumer!!

while in MI last week, I saw one store with Ezra 101 7 year. Its something only the small chain here in Louisville carries, and I had forgotten about it, as I rarely see it. I passed it up, intending to just get some at home next time I went out. Today, I thought I might go get a few, but only found one while looking in three of the chains' stores. Maybe I shoulda grabbed the two I saw in that MI gas station....

Bought a FRSmB. Good off the shelf bourbon. Sometimes you need a palate readjustment.

Save your coin and buy the 12. The 7 is a corny mess. If the 12 and EC12 are next to each other on the shelf for the same price, I buy the Ezra. It's got a few qualities EC12 does not.

Aannnd let the lynching of Boots begin....:P

Got a couple SAOS 8 yr barrel picks. I've had quite a few, from the standard issues, to the Faultline blend, a handful of 8-10 year old picks and found my tastes gravitate to the 8 yr bourbon so I bit the bullet.

Also bought my first ever Four Roses SiB private barrel. I'm really not a huge fan of FR, I just appreciate the quality and variety at the price point.

Also, both have great trade-ablity because that's what all the cool kids seem to be into these days. :P

Two "dusty" age stated VOB BIBs. At $14.99 for 6 yr 100 proof from a known distiller. Hard to beat. And also Bourbon of the Month for a couple of more days.
