I've been eyeing a Bowman Port Finish for 6 months now at an out-of-the-way store. Finally pulled the trigger today. Also grabbed a Willet 4th rye. Mostly seeing only the 2yr recently and for some reason can't convince myself grab that one.

4R PS bottles are a drug, if you ask me. I only wish the first one had been free.

put two more Old Ezra 101 7 year's into the stash today.

After the party last month, Ive got SO much bourbon/whiskey here right now that Im just going to buy things I want to put into my stash, in case they stop making said bottles. So, the bunker of Dickel 9, HH6BIB and OE101/7 is going to enlarge. Larceny, McKBIB and Booker's dont seem to be threatened, so I just keep open ones around.

Just got two 1L of Weller 12s. I had about 1/2 a bottle left of W12 750 so used the rest for the SB blend. Feels good to know I have more W12s saved away. The blend and ECBP are my go to daily pours.

I wish we could get that Weller 12 here. I got a bottle a while back in MO and was mighty impressed.

Willett 2 yr Rye and High West Double Rye. Obviously, neither are bourbon, but hopefully I get a pass.

Woohoo! Today marks two weeks since I've bought a bottle. A record for me since I've started this fantastic hobby. Really starting to deplete the open bottles on my bar.

Similarly, I somehow went from July 2 through July 27 without going to a liquor store. Just didn't need anything, and there wasn't anything to hunt. A bourbon lull.

Headed to the beach for a week so wanted something light-ish. I bought a 1.75L store select Buffalo Trace. I'll probably raid my bar for a little variety and some special pours to take with me. Oh and you guys will be super interested to know I also bought a bottle of 1800 Coconut Tequila......for the wife haha

HA! You're right, I've actually been spending a lot of time on the forums at FlavoredVodkanTequila.com There is so much knowledge on that site and I'm thinking about switching from bourbon to flavored vodka. I've heard there is a Belgian Waffle Vodka that beat Pappy in a blind tasting. Maybe I could start a Georgia Flavored Spirits Society and we could be the rivals of GBS. We could square off in an annual dodgeball game or something!

Well I'm not counting the two bottles of 90 proof JD that I picked up for my son

You can call it a bunker. Really. It doesn't hurt at all.

Try it.

Bunker.

See?

I would love to be at your store right now. I'm guessing they will sell very fast.
