Wish that it was only a straight up trade! Cash considerations and a bottle to be named later were also discussed...

For the record, so we don't get a bad name, everything was on the level. Retail price swap between friends. I only gouge those uninitiated with the goat . . .

Yes, just kidding! I was briefly in fantasy baseball mode.

Been pretty busy with work and family stuff, but did manage to grab a bottle of WTKS to drink, and bottle of "Duke" for the novelty shelf.

2 bottles of ETL Single Barrel. I was in VA today, so I decided to stop by a ABC store in hopes I found something not usually available near me. A success. Haven't seen a regular ETL on the shelf anywhere in months.

Four bottles of HH 6YO BIB, bottle of Bulleit Rye (very much on sale and cheaper than Dickel Rye for once), and bottle of Rittenhouse. Needed to stock up on the basics.

so HH6BIB actually is in WA? Id heard that somewhere else, but thought it seemed odd. knowing WA state's reputation on pricing and taxes, may we ask what it cost out there?

$17.99 before tax; $24.51 after tax for 750 ml (if you're unfamiliar with WA taxes just search some threads here).

It showed up a few months ago in a bar close to my office but I had not seen it at retail. Our value (that's a relative term out here) selection is getting better out here, finally.

Really cool! It is always fun finding something that you don't see very often and enjoy.

As far as I know, it's only available at QFC U Village and Capco in Issaquah. I bought a couple at QFC about a month ago and like it quite a bit for $24.50 out the door.

Pair of ECBP 5's and an Old Charter 101 which I've never had. Left four ECBP on the shelf and passed on Barterhouse at $70 and Rhetoric at $80.

Unexpectedly stopped at a store after a bike ride and found a commemorative ETL, ECBP and a bottle of Mixed Mashbill Parker's Heritage. Really surprised to find all that since they they all sold out of regular ETL....

Got lucky with a case of ETL, plus a bottle of scotch for a buddy that recently graduated with is engineering degree. Wasn't impressed with Rhetoric @ $99 (especially after all the hype), but continue to enjoy Barterhouse @ $82.

Picked up an ER10 for 23.49. Put a good dent in the bottle this weekend so planning ahead.

Not really one of my favorites but at that price you can't go wrong.

Found a lonely OC10 in the wild. Looked new, no dust on it, 86 proof. Wasn't expecting it would be as tasty as it is.
