gooneygoogoo
I'm on budget mode until the fall releases come out. Keep going back for this store select Buffalo Trace. Picked up a 1.75 of it today
Ravensfire
A local store had a pair of Willett 11 year WFE finally (some 15 months after the barrels were picked) come in. Grabbed 2 of each barrel plus a Willett WFE 7 year Rye that was on the shelf. Alas, the guy right in front of my at checkout got their last bottle of the 2 year rye (to go along with his 5 or 6 cases of the 11 year!). Cannot WAIT to crack these open. Was tempted to go for more, even with the price, but if it's good, I'll probably have to go back.
Paddy
Snagged a almost unicorn AAA 10 yr in the wild today. I walked in to a store I visit periodically when in this to remain unidentified town and checked the shelves for this single purpose. :searching: Within a minute or two I was approached and asked if I needed any help. I asked and was advised, "no....the last of that is long gone". I thought well heck, I'm here and it's all about cultivating relationships isn't it, so after 10 minutes or so of looking around and some pleasant conversation of all things important (bourbon and rye), I declared that I'd be back, but for now, if there was no AAA 10 yr to be had, I'd just be content to go on my way empty handed.I'll be damned if he didn't reply with a "well, I do have one in the back that I was saving for myself".
GaryT
Couldn't pass up a bottle of OGD 114 for $22. My excuse is I'll need to steep some fresh raisins tomorrow after making oatmeal raisin cookies, so I don't want to risk running out

Tony Santana
It's been ages since I bought any bourbon - must be almost 3 weeks. Picked up a CEHT SB, the latest batch of the SA Yearling (aged 2 years 6 months), the old school 3rd grade art project label Henry McKenna and the latest batch of Redemption Rye. KyleCBreese
Picked up a CEHT SmB since I haven't seen it around in a while. Surprisingly, I am seeing a lot of the Single Barrel and none of the Small Batch.
IowaJeff
I was in Chicago and picked up a WT Single Barrel, Very Old Barton, and Old Grand dad 114. I've not had the WT SB before and thus far I like it a lot. Kind of a concentrated version 101, of which I'm a big fan.

DBM
Grabbed a Barterhouse, ECBP batch 5 and Blanton's. Oddly enough, I'm most excited about the Blanton's; as other many others it was one of my gateway bourbons but I haven't revisited it in over a year.
