According to the legal pad someone sent down the line, #193. I didn't get there until 0630. You had a chilly night. I got out by 0840 and they still had plenty of 10 and 12. Hope everyone in line got a bottle.

Wow that's great! Glad you guys got something. That was a long line. It was mildly entertaining watching people show up at 7:45, and seeing their face drop when they rounded the corner and saw the line.

Sounds like Black Friday. I did it once trying to get a cheap laptop at Best Buy. I didn't get it. I read your post in the pappy thread. It sounds like you were successful and, given the circumstances, had a memorable experience.

My wife was #22, I was #25. We got there a few minutes before 8pm.

No PVW excitement for me today.

Couple bottles of Michter's 10 YO, and a 2014 JD Holiday Select (Which is a Single Barrel this year).

Also got a call to pick up a bottle of ETL (has it really come to this?), which I'll grab tomorrow.

The damn fall releases are killing my wallet. A FR SmB 2014, an OFBB 2014, and a Glenmo Taghta came home with me today. I'd have a hard time beating the prices I paid from "my guy" but it is still yet another hit to the wallet. If my wife's wine club fall shipments hadn't just come in then I would almost feel guilty.

thats some good times for $50! and it looks even better after reading about people camping out in a line for some 'collectable' bourbon

Got a PHC8 and HW MWND. Overall pretty good, but I'm really bummed about not being able to find any BTAC. Losing hope now so I guess I'll just enjoy the stuff I got.

Jasmorg's concession is a healthy way to deal with his reality. But if bourbon is your passion, that key right there, is the key to the wrong door. Glad your bummed jasmorg. Try to taste as many bourbons as you can as long into your life as you can :cool:.

Picked up a WT101 gift pack with a sweet boot glass and an ETL. Haven't seen an Elmer in quite a while so was happy to be re-aquatinted.
