Tony Santana
After shoveling 17" of snow off my driveway, sidewalks, patio, deck and porch I'm enjoying some HM BIB. I've about had my fill of old man winter.Yeah, I saw you guys got hammered again. It's not like I've never had to deal with 17 inches of snow or below zero temps, but that's a far bigger dump of snow than we got all winter here in Wisconsin. Good luck dealing with it, just remember it will be nice out soon, and enjoy a few stiff pours.

fishnbowljoe
My wife and I went out to dinner tonight with my wifes' sister and her husband. FWIW, this is the restaurant/bar that Vosgar and I frequent for tastings and cigars in the warmer months. We had a great dinner. Dinner was made even better by live entertainment. Much to my delight, a pianist and trumpet player played jazz and standard classics. We usually don't have dessert, but we decided to this time. We all split slices of chocolate lava cake, Italian chocolate cake layered with chocolate cream and drizzled with chocolate, and chocolate turtle pie. I had a double pour of Lot B along with dessert. It was a pretty generous pour. The bartender remembered me from the tastings, and the bottle was almost empty, so he just looked up at me, smiled and drained it. Only $15 for a near 4 ounce pour of Lot B. The Lot B and chocolate desserts complemented each other quite nicely. :yum: All in all, a really great night with family, good food, good music and good bourbon. I'm topping off the evening with a pour of Stagg Jr.Cheers! Joe
Paddy
^^^^Good for you Joe. Nights like that are what it's really all about aren't they? I kicked back in front of the fire with a move, pretty lady and a little PVW15 tonight. I'd say we've got the weekend off to a pretty good start.:toast:

Every once in a while the stars seem to align just right, and things fall into place nicely. It's funny you should mention watching a movie with your lady. That's on our agenda for tomorrow night. BFerguson
Bach'ing it this weekend as the misses is away on a girls weekend to NYC, so after the boys went down for bed, a rather nice pour of ECBP. Splash of water in the glass, life was good.B
smokinjoe
I kicked back in front of the fire with a move, pretty lady and a little PVW15 tonight. Was that the old "pretending to stretch and then laying your arm back down around her shoulders" move, Paddy? Come on, spill. I know that gentlemen never kiss and tell, but this is SB, and we have the average maturity level of a 6th grader!
garbanzobean
Got some ribs rubbed, slathered with honey mustard, and topped with bacon going in the oven (too much snow on the ground to get to my grill). Since my work for the day is obviously done, I'm having a little OGD114/RR10 blend in my coffee this morning.
El Vino
Just the dog and I for a few hours. Enjoying the peace and quiet by finishing off the last couple of ounces of GTS 2013. Neat. Not as well reviewed as the 2014, but man this is some fine bourbon. No more snow in the forecast, so at least we have that going for us - which is nice. I know that gentlemen never kiss and tell, but this is SB, and we have the average maturity level of a 6th grader! I think that we could just safely say that it was the 'old double entendre' move(ie) that was taking place there Joe! Kids today don't realize what they're missing with these newfangled multiplex theatres with no balconies in 'em do they Joe? Anyway...carry on! Phil T
I usually go Krogering on Saturday morning, today was no different. And I always walk into the liquor store to see what is on sale. Today it is MM46, at $34.75 down from $39.95. Picked up a couple of bottles. It's a pour that I dig, but usually don't buy because of the price. Enjoying 2 fingers right now. GaryT
Finding ECBP goes really well with the Whiskey Wedge. Not a huge fan of ice, but at 140 proof - it works well!
