flahute
Hang in there although it will probably not be less going forward. I'm quite sure you are correct. It's already gone up in price twice since its introduction last year. Still though, it's in good supply here for whatever reason so I continue to pad the bunker with it. flahute
Picked up a bottle of 1792 with the new label design today at lunch. I look forward to seeing how it compares to the old age stated version. Can it really be as bad as many have said? I will say this, I think the new design on the package is stunningly beautiful. They did a great job, IMO. Yep, I like that kinda stuff.Saw the new bottle design tonight and have to agree with you - it's very well done and a clear step up from the previous design. I look forward to hearing your sbs thoughts (Or, palate memory thoughts, whichever the case may be).

Also picked up a Four Roses Gift Shop PS OBSV (115.2 proof) for myself and an OBSQ (115 proof) for a friend.

BigBoldBully
Recently picked up Weller 12--first time I have ever seen this in the area. Makes you wonder what is behind the expanding distribution. Bigger supply than some seem to think? Desire to spread it more widely but more thinly so it appears rare everywhere? Whatever the explanation, glad to finally have some. TunnelTiger
I don't want to start a panic on the NYSE but I'm going to make it a whole week without visiting a store or buying a bottle/bottles for the first time in 2015. No special reason, just didn't get around to it.

johnnybogey
FR store select (OBSV) single barrel. This one was aged 8 yrs 8 mos. thought that seemed a bit young. Thought they were all in the 10-12 yr range. In any case, I don't care because the price was $34.99. This is by far the cheapest I've seen for FRSB.Also picked up Willett 2 yr rye for $34.99. If its the 100 proof, I've had at least one younger than that, and it was outstanding. Even bought an extra bottle to put away.

If its the 100 proof, I've had at least one younger than that, and it was outstanding. Even bought an extra bottle to put away.100 proof. Thus far, I've tried OBSV and OBSO and liked the OBSV the best. The label didn't show the recipe so asked the manager who proceeded to show me three sample sample bottles all labeled OBSV showing the various specs such as age, warehouse location, etc. pretty neat stuff. Anxious to try this one. They still have boatloads!!! All sitting on the actual barrel they purchased. If I like, will go back for more to bunker some. At $34.99, can't beat the price especially for these parts where some places are charging over $50. Any members in the Stamford, CT area want to know the store name, let me know. They also have Jeffersons store select, eagle rare store select and buffalo trace store select.

Paddy
I was forced to snag a ER10 and KC this evening, when I realized that both were marked down $9 from the regular price. I didn't need either one, but what else could a guy do?
