It is regular Booker's, as I understand it. They're just trying to emphasize the batch numbers a little more with the new packaging.

Thanks for clarifying. I was pretty sure its the same. I read the Chuck Cowdery blog post and assumed there were a few new people helping pick each batch. It's a great marketing idea as I am sure people will want to collect them all. I always liked Bookers but have not had any on hand for a while.

Saw this today and picked it up. Don't know anything about it.

Says it is distilled in Kentucky and bottled in St. Louis.

101 proof and 7 years. Seems to be in my wheelhouse.

Picked up a Old Fitz and EWB for $10 each. Nothing outstanding, but cannot beat the prices.

I bought a bottle of this (OE101) recently and it didn't last long . . . I drank it neat and friends liked it with a bit of ice. OE101 is a great value for its proof and age . . . I bought another. (Some believe this is distilled at Heaven Hill.)

That's presumed to be Heaven Hill distillate, and at a good age/proof combination. Good stuff!

2 more liter bottles of 6 year Very old Barton's. They went on sale for $16 and couldn't pass it up

Grabbed a bottle of Forged Oak, Chefs Collab 2, and CEHT SB. Time to drink.

Oh and I found out within the year there will be store selections of Blantons, 4 Roses (not sure which recipe), Knob Creek, and Bookers. Nice.

I have seen store selections of Knob Creek Single Barrel before, never the regular juice though.

Don't have my collection with me so bought another set of SB blend. These bottles are HUGE! Tons of this around here. Not in CA :)

Ummmm.....what are your plans with the Ajax? I thought a "soapy" flavor was undesirable.:)

Hahaha. My thought the same. But needed a reference for y'all to see how big the bottles are. :)

My bad. It is the SB.

I've seen store selections of 100 proof Knob Creek around here before. On the other hand, I didn't even know you could do a PS of Booker's! That sounds interesting.

OE 12

I suppose it could be EC 12 in a different bottle but I figured it was worth a shot. 12 years old and 99 proof how bad could it be?bd01a205840ea96c9c1286b9aca8a84f.jpg

Just noticed should this be a new thread now, Spring/Summer or Spring?

Well, if you're extremely anal...yes, I guess.
