?...Multiple bottle opening ceremonies planned for tonight.

Pomp and Circumstance, trumpeters, Honor Guard, ceremonial caissons, invited dignitaries, formal dress, 21 gun salutes, the whole nine yards type of ceremonies? :D. At least that's how I do it at my house...

They don't make it like they used to, but the new stuff is pretty good in its own way.

Absolutely! While the old 8 and 12 Year Old 101 are among my favorite Bourbons ever the newer 101 and Rare Breed are some damn fine pours too. I just found another 8 Year and next on the list is the older 108.2 RB Batch to fill the bunker before it disappears from the shops...

Vintage 17yr hitting the bin tonight.

Great bottle. Only had the opportunity to taste in a local restaurant and last week in Vegas. Wish I could have procured a bottle when it was on shelves.

Finished off a Bulleit 10. I enjoyed it and will probably pick up another. I know a store that has it for $42.

Finished up my eh Taylor rye. Not bad but I was a little disappointed with mine after hearing so much good about it.
