Well, I did it. I finally succumbed to WT Diamond yesterday. Bought it for $110. I think my relative lack of purchasing this year hurt me more than helped me in the store. Instead of keeping the streak going I got a severe case of WN. WN won in the end.

Finally came across OWA again. My local has been out for awhile and my bottle of SB blend is getting low.

I stopped by one of my local stores today and found it had Old Ezra 101 back on the shelves. I hadn't seen it in many months. OE101 is best stuff Luxco puts out.

Makers Mark Cask Strength for $50 which was $10 less than when I saw it yesterday at Binny's. Looking forward to cracking this baby open tonight.

Picked up a bottle of HWMWD act 2.9. Curious to see how it compares to act 2.1.

I also nabbed a 750 of MMCS yesterday for $50.

Had two bottles of ETL brought to me from Houston on Sunday, and I've got a couple of bottles of Tom's Foolery (one a Binny's selection), and a HW Bourye on the way toward the end of the week.

"best stuff Luxco puts out" sets a low bar, but I agree. If someone wants higher proof and under $20, OE 101 is a definite 'must try."

EC 12 for the first time, trying tonite. They had 2 1.75 Weller 12 for 50 ea. I passed on that. EC 12 was 30 gulp. Hope it's worth it. I was back and forth between this 4roses small batch or 4roses single barrel.

On the way back from Key West I stopped at an ABC in Naples, and a Total Wine. Picked up 2 store select 4R single barrels, 2- ETL and a BT Single Oak Project Barrel 148. All of those came from the ABC store, Total wine did not have a huge selections of things.

I am happy but running out of space.

I live only 40 minutes from the Old Pogue distillery, took a tour a while ago. Going back this Friday. Old Pogue Bourbon isnt bad, a little rubbing alcoholly though. Nice little(very little)distillery however. Worth visiting should you ever get the chance.

Picked up a Stagg Jr Batch 3 today. I thought I had a beat on ETL but some clown named Phil had already claimed all 3 via a transfer from another store. Who on here is Phil? (Just kidding about the clown comment...)

Its been two weeks but in that I time I've picked up an OWA store select, Henry McKenna 10, Buffalo Trace and an ETL. Restocking some old favorites.

Grabbed an ETL and a Weller Special Reserve (have tried and enjoyed the OWA and 12 year but always overlooked the WSR). It's a very nice daily drinker. I picked up fifth but may go back for one of the handle sized that they had for a good price. Passed up some Stagg Jr batch 3's at 49.00, might go back for one of those too. :)
