OldDrinker1978
Ran out of vodka. Really not that bad. Red bull just overpowers all flavor.vodka & red bull = poor man's cocaine. Had my fair share of this stuff too, but I'd rather have some zubrowka/apple juice these days...

flahute
Just arrived in Whistler for the weekend after a hellacious drive that included a 1 hour border wait and various spots of stop and go traffic. I figured I deserved a whiskey after that so I'm sipping on the Larceny that I brought with me as I wait until we go out for dinner. Does anyone else get a lot of char in this one? GrPeMi
I'm sipping on the Larceny that I brought with me as I wait until we go out for dinner. Does anyone else get a lot of char in this one?I've only been through one bottle, but there were times when all I got was char, and then others when it was really quite enjoyable, and I never could figure out why I got one or the other at any given time. The Black Tot
Yes, an under-rated album that supposedly suffers from not being "Led Zeppelin II+", which is understandably what people wanted, but Page had moved on. The hard rock blitz of LZII comes back on ZoSo and HOTH, but LZIII is a nice example of following the Muse down softer paths. Yet it still has "Immigrant Song" and "Celebration Day", with its great guitar intro. .I have bought many Supro amplifiers in Mr Page's honor. dcbt
It's a pretty cool mountain town. In some respects, it's like other mountain towns, but it does have it's unique moments. I did a project up here so I've been here a lot in the past 5 years. I'll keep coming up for various reasons in the future because I'm now friends with the client. If you do get up here, let me know - maybe it will overlap with one of my visits. And, if you do come up here, bring your own bourbon! BC Liquor Store bourbon selection is very weak. I did see Booker's last night for $60 Canadian, which is a good deal for us with the exchange rate right now. Other selections were JBW, Bulleit, and BT. Selection is similarly weak at the bars unless you go to a nice restaurant.

Harry in WashDC
Braves-Nats are on this early afternoon. Hence, I am ensconced. In the waste basket next to me is a partial bottle of John J. Bowman SB - the 100 proof offered by A. Smith Bowman. Mets at Marlins are tied 3-3. My glass is at hand. It's a good afternoon so far.
