Liquor Store "Huh?" Moments

Regular Buffalo Trace is still allocated in my state.  Stores get it somewhat regularly, but they don't put it on the shelf, it's still a backroom item that they'll dole out to known customers, but it's always $35-45 which is crazy to me.   I travel to Louisiana for work fairly frequently, so I often buy a case or two to bring back and share at cost to my buddies that always want it.  Sometimes I can find a store that will knock a few bucks off if you buy a whole case, but it's not often.

So last Thursday I'm in LA, stopped into a store I'd never been in before, and there's rows and rows of BT on the shelf for $24.99.  Usually in LA the price is $25.99 or $27.99.  Sitting right next to them are three 1.75's of it, but for $99.99.   🤣   I asked the clerk if anyone actually buys the 1.75's and he said they don't get them very often, only 750's, but when they do get 1.75's they sell out within about 2 days.

Somebody make it make sense...

You should ask if they'd be interested in donating to your mathematics education fund.

When it comes to BT, you have to suspend your common sense and logic.  Best not to ask too many questions.  🤔🤪🤑

I am not a fan of BT. I find it bland and very monotonous dram. A ok to good store pick ( I have not had a great btl of BT EVA!), another story.

Picked one up the other day that I quite enjoy. Convenient store pick. Who knew? Lol. It is almost gone.

Sometimes!
