Working on a super thick pour of BT Single Barrel. Poured the usual amount. Looked at the bottle and saw that less than a standard pour was left. Bottoms up was the order.

Opened up a bottle of ECBP (136) tonight. WOW.

I think I've decided that's what I'm opening for Thanksgiving. Tonight I'm having a couple pours of HWYKY. It's growing on me and has lost a bit of the overwhelming vermouth on the nose when first opened. Dean..I did enjoy the legal discussion of BIB.

Pay heed to the advice from Paddy.

Open them all.

I'm the only one that will likely be drinking bourbon at Thanksgiving...and I'm the cook so I probably need to limit my intake!! :)

My mom and my aunt get drunk and burn the rolls every year, its tradition.  Don't limit yourself...

WTRB.....first go at this....this is incredible, sweet enough and I love the kick. Learning I much prefer the turkey kick to the beam funk......

Ran out of the OGD BIB I keep in the trashcan next to my chair last night and forgot to replace it.  (No surprise there.)  The spares are in the trunk of my car.  That's REALLY far away from where I am now.  Plus, I did lots of yard work today to prepare for winter,  SO, tonight I opened a basic 4R SiB (I could reach it in the pantry without a ladder).  I just may sleep here in my TV chair next to my trashcan.;)

That is a foolproof way for me to click on the rest of a message, after reading that snippet. Now tell me, what else exactly do you keep in that "trash" can?

Finishing off the last drops of a store select ER10, and a KCSmB.  I have several of each in the bunker, so no need to be conservative with the pours.

I wrote, in part, " Ran out of the OGD BIB I keep in the trashcan next to my chair last night and forgot to replace it . . ."  This elicited two responses: TO WIT:

Joe, have you been watching my every move?  And, dcbt, I keep trash in there.  What did you expect?  How ELSE I going to keep the OGD bottle form prying eyes?  Like Joe's.

Great bottle I got through another SB'er. Whatever SAOS does they need to keep doing. Incredible.

So far tonight, I started with some CEHTSmB while watching the Heels hand the Citadel an ass-whoopin'.  Switched to SAOS10SB with dinner.  Stagg, Jr. afterwards.  Just realized that my decanter (SAOS7) was on it's last pour, so I'm currently finishing that off.  Considering AER as a night cap.  I'm kinda all over the place this evening.

Watching a ton of college football, right now penn state vs rutgers.

Started early this evening with several pours of FRSib OESK.

About to finish the night with a good pour of OF1920, and the last two episodes of Shameless.

Wind blowing outside, and some sleet/hail.

I was out cruising with the top down in my S2000 today and it was almost 70*.  Quite the swing in temps.

Continued onslaught on open bottles with a friend last night we finished off a KCSB and a OWA, made a dent in a 1792FP.  Oh and I had a pour of ER10 while out for dinner
