Decided to keep it simple, so started with some BT.  Hitting great tonight - cinnamon and brown sugar with some allspice.  Already giving the OGD 114 the @#% me eyes though . . .

WTKS in glass. It's been one that has gone much quicker than normal. Very easy going.

The last ounce of a ER10 (which had a fantastic caramel bomb nose BTW) wasn't going to be enough in my glass (and I didn't want to have to get back up anytime soon), so I mixed in about 2 oz of OB BIB (Old Bardstown).  Now, I'm watching the Cats play with about 2.5 ounces still in the glass, and I'm good!  Should at least make it to the mid-way point of the second half... then, you know.

HMcK 10yr BIB #2696.  This is NOT a multiple purchase, just your typical HMcK SiB BIB.  Tasted it in the parking lot (location deleted by Royal Censor) and was not moved to go get the rest of 2696, but that doesn't mean it is bad.  But, since it is open, . . .

Tonight I started with a small pour of EC(NAS), and am now refilling the glass with a newly opened bottle of SAOS 10SiB.  When I opened the SAOS 10 SiB this afternoon, my tastebuds were on overload.

I was at a tasting where I was able to taste EC21, SAOS SiB9. EC PS, Blantons Gold, and Old Bardstown BiB.  Been a long day with some good bourbon.  Will probably sleep well tonight.

Nice. Should have followed your lead. Had the last pour of Blanton's that was too small but didn't have to foresight to blend anything in so I had to get up too soon for the refill.

Now sipping on a big pour RYSiB10yr and am basking in all its wheater glory. The Werther's candy is strong in this one.

Finishing off the last of a jar of home-made aged egg-nog (from 2015).  I know there is bourbon in it, but can't remember what it is now - but it counts!  C'mon in Fall - I've been waiting! :D

I must have been under a rock, but I've never heard of aged nog. I need a recipe and any special instructions for not poisoning myself, unless I can just use my standard recipe and let it sit indefinitely?

After cracking a fresh WTAS, another round was in order.

Moved on to a FR Mariage, 09.

Not a bad follow up.

It's turning out to be a nice night.

My wife is out with girl friends, leaving me to fend for myself this cold Thursday evening. While making some soup, FR PS OBSF 57.3%, 11Y 5 M. Lots of spice and vanilla. Road to Ruin ain't half bad either.  Cheers!

I had the last couple of pours from a 200 ml of AA BIB tonight after I got home from work. Oh how I wish they still made this one. It is at least the equal, if not the better of the HH 6 yr BIB.

Cheers! Joe

Enjoying a Crown Liquors Store Select ER 10.  My favorite all-time ER 10 was from Westport Whiskey and Wine (Louisville) a few years back but this one is pretty good.

Tasted a Cedar Ridge cask strength at local store tonight.  Really enjoyed it, caramel, vanilla, not much oak, and not the burn I expected from 117 proof.

Just home from work and watching the end of the 76ers win and Flyers extending their win streak to 7 games versus the Oilers.  Good night for Philly sports.  Now a small pour of 1792FP and watching the end of the Oak/KC Thursday Night Football game.

If you had the over/under on it, I made it to the 7:38 point in the second half! :D

I haven't hit up the RY10 yet, but it sounds as if the force is strong here...

First pour in Louisville: ORVW 10!

Finished watching the TNF game with an Old Fitzgerald Prime. I wish I bought some BIBs I always passed on in favor of Weller a few years back.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it. My dilemma is picking and choosing which bottles fly/ship home. I stopped by TPS on the way in and was tempted to get their 4R PS but am holding out for what I can find here and the gift shops.

That lasted a long time.

I'm feeling the force in this one. When in the wheater mood - it satisfies strongly. Currently plotting to buy some more.

Had a smidge of a freshly cracked PHC 24yr BIB. Had to try it. First impression is very favorable.

Now into so WTRB. Always a winner.

Finishing the evening with some ECBP and it's absolutely killing it. Amazing stuff, incredibly thick and chewy.
