Richnimrod
Parted the 'seal' on my 'solera', which contains upwards of 30-Bourbons in varying quantities, added as bottles get low... or as I get the desire to put in something I think will be beneficial. This mixture has steadily improved over the several years it's been "alive". ...To the point that it's now one of my best pours in the 'regular rotation'. It's about 105-proof (and I really mean 'about' since I only track the proof/quantity-added-to-volume ratio in the most rudimentary manner). It actually could be as high as 110, and as low as 100. Anyway, with some GTStagg, some WLW, some OFBB, along with many other fine pours of lower price and varying proofs, it's a fine and complex pour. elmossle
Started the afternoon off with some OFBB '15 which I had not had in a while and enjoyed the revisit. From there we moved onto some Rebel Yell 10yrSB which was very tasty. Not really sure how they managed to get this so good as I think the regular Rebel Yell is terrible. Figured a night cap would be nice so added a little HH6yrBIB to the glass and now its time for bed.

I don't have a WLW open at the moment, but I do have a newly opened Binny's OWA available. Hey, at least it's a Weller. So, I will join you for a pour this morning. As per my usual when I am able to partake on a weekend morning, alongside my second cup of coffee. Cheers! Joe

Masset1982
It's close to perfection, its a flavor bomb, the longest finish ever. I took the last sip 10 min ago I still have the taste in my mouth. Thanks Jeff. Those 2016WLW look good too!
smokinjoe
Helping Mrssmokinjoe put up the Dickens Village while sipping on a 1792 High Rye. Big floral on the nose, sweet up front, and then a nice spicy pop. You give me this blind and 19 times out of 20 I'm guessing Four Roses.
Harry in WashDC
After getting decoration boxes off the really high shelves, near where I'd put a 750 of JD 150th 86 proof (i.e., the basic JD with the special label) because there was no room lower down, and then after helping to set up the nonliving tree and put stuff on it, I am settling in for the 4PM Skins @ Cards game. She's making cookies in the kitchen, and I carried the JD to the back room. After a couple of sips, I noticed I get really different tastes every time I sip. Sometimes, they are super sweet, sometimes just hot, sometimes a little banana pudding, sometimes leather. THAT time it was pepper. I wish it would make up its mind. I'm getting confused over here, and, at 86 proof, the JD confusion could last for manymany sips. And, yeah, I, personally, consider it a bourbon even with the Lincoln County process. But, you don't have to.

BigRich
Tried some BT Bourbon Cream I picked up today. Poured over ice...OMG this stuff is yummy. Wifey and I love the stuff too. Delicious. The only cream liqueur I've had that I thought was better was the one they make for Barton. It's basically the bourbon cream with...wait for it...a hint of chocolate added too. Now if only they would start distributing that to Georgia too...
