I just picked up the talisker myself, never had it. Will be a little bit before I open, any idea what I can expect?

Longrow 11 and Ledaig 11, both port cask matured. Overpaid on the Longrow but I've been meaning to get one for ages and the opportunity came up.

I waited over 2 weeks for these. Can't wait to crack the LMDW cask strength Sherry  Kavalan open.

Nice! Excited to hear the reviews on the Kavalan, as well.

Today, I found a Glendronach 15 Revival. Very happy

Found two bottles of Aberlour A'bunadh batch #45 today for $85 per bottle. They came home with me. The newer batches I've been seeing in most stores have been $115 - $125.

I rarely buy Scotch but a local store had Tomatin 18yr for $49.99.  Reviews seemed good so I went for it.  No regrets whatsoever....I had a pour as soon as I got home and it's delightful.

Given prices today it is hard not to like a well made highland malt aged 18 years for that price!

Yeah, Tomatin is good stuff for the price.  Not earth-shattering, but a quality single malt at a solid price.  It's more like $65 around me, so $50 is a great price.

As to that 13-year Hazelburn, I've been seeing more and more Hazelburn around, which is nice (I haven't seen that one though).  I have some of the basic 12 year, which is not around much, but is a quality single malt.  I recently bought a 9-year Barolo finish I believe.  I generally get behind anything Springbank-related.

For more than I wanted to pay but I'm a sucker.

Just ordered a Local Barley myself, for what seems like a decent price.  I may have to order one more.

Purchased awhile back and waiting on delivery:

Octomore OBA x 2 500ml bottles

Port Askaig 15 Sherry x 1 (probably Bunnahabhain, regardless going to be tasty)

Glenfarclas 103 15yr TWE exclusive x 1

Been looking for this one for quite some time and finally found one today.  The price was right, so I went ahead and brought it home so it wouldn't get lonely.

Picked up a pair of 13yr offerings.  I'd never seen this Bunnahabhain Marsala before....had to give it a whirl.

Never had the Bunnahabhain Marsala, but I really like all of the Craigellachie offerings I have tried.

Batch 56 and $69.00

Wow! The newer batches hitting the shelves here are priced around $120. I found a few older batches recently, but they were still priced at $85, which is a bargain now in my area.
