Mako254
What are you walking out with to cover your bourbon needs for the next few months? $100 (pre tax for a littl flex), your local. What regularly available bottles go home with you? 1.) Four Roses single barrel, 100 proof $38 a great value. Consistent, nice depth, nice finish. 2.) Wild Turkey 101 proof $20. An incredibly versatile bourbon. The 101 stands up in cocktails, on the rocks, or neat. 3.) Knob Creek, single barrel $42. 120 proof, 9 years, tons of flavor, dang sure doesn’t drink like 120. Disclaimer, this topic is 100% ripped off from a post @jmpyle put up on sour mash manifesto some years back.

dad-proof
As I type I'm already thinking about changing my mind, but I could easily bounce between these three for a few months - WT Rare Breed, $45 - EHT Small Batch BIB, $40 - EW BIB, $15
bayouredd
If you loan me a couple bucks, I go with: Blanton's $60 KC 120 $42 Total $102 If I can't fudge the deal then probably Blanton's $60 CEHT SiB $56 4R SiB $37 or KC 120 $42 Total $97 Total $98 and I loan you a couple bucks
IncredulousNosco
Do they have a barrel pick of WP? If so, get that and an OGD 117. If they don't, do they have ECBP? Yes? Get that and a bottle of OGD 117. No? Get an Ardbeg Uigeadail and an OGD 117. None of that? Go somewhere else.

GaryT
On the premise that I don't have access to the rest of my bunker (so whatever I buy has to hold me over a few months), I'd go with something like this: AAA 10-Star - family size, $25WT101 - $21 JB Distiller's Cut - $25OGD 114 - $27
Spade
WT101 – 21 McKenna 10 – 35 Rittenhouse – 25 And with the remaining money I'd then grab wither a bottle of WSR or if that wasn't available AAA 10*.
Marekv8
If limited to bourbon only… $24, $47, $28 (but would opt for PS on EC and Blanton's) If a mixed bag is allowable… $17, $25, $56

Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk It doesn't sit long but this one LS seems to get a case every 2 to 3 weeks. I just kinda make a leisurely pass when I feel in my bones that the time is right & have scored 6 bottles for myself & 2 for other folks since Dec. They have all been bottled within a month before the purchase. Actually 2 of the 8 were grabbed by luck from Publix LS. It's been like winning a mini lottery. That is a question to ponder, how best to spend $100 in Jamie Farris’ shop.

BigSkyDrams
Without checking specifically, I think these prices are correct at my local: $45 WTRB or FRSiB $32 Henry McKenna $23 OGD 114 If I couldn’t swing that as being over by a dollar or two, I think I could get the following: $38 ER10 $36 Johnny Drum $26 Rittenhouse

Jav
If it needs to last a month I'm definitely not paying a lot for a single bottle. WT 101 - $20 EC SmB - $24 Rittenhouse Rye - $24 Four Roses SmB - $

Paddy
Two handles of Old Fitz BIB, which leaves room for two 750's of HHBIB, + tax. That'd get me through!
lcpfratn
That's an easy one-- sales tax.[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I hear you! Jamie certainly has too many tempting choices. That’s about what my sales tax amount was on my first visit there a few months ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Soberiquet
I've always enjoyed these kind of posts, so I am going to stop lurking here and finally post. RRSiB $50 HHBIB $12 KCSiB $39 Over by a dollar, but I'm sure I could find that in change in the cupholders in my car.
