BigRich
Today was a surprisingly long day for a weekend. I’m getting into the right frame of mind now with a MF FdA, CB Juveniles, and Steve Earle on the porch.

bourbon-n00b
Cracked into Laphroig CS batch 10. I'm sure this is nothing profound to those more acclimated to scotch but wow this is really good! So much going on but at the same time, so integrated and balanced. The finish just goes on and on... At $60, it's going to be easy to justify this over a lot of options in the bourbon aisle.

I drink plenty of scotch and I"m right there with you, it's a fantastic pour at a great price for today's economics.

Kane
Experimenting a bit more with Scotch and cheese. So far strong sherry/sulfur works, heavy smoke works. No success with lighter drams, but my cheese is also mostly on the sharp, aged, and overall stinky side Edited April 8, 2019 by Kane

Thanks, I’m scheduled to take a red eye tomorrow night— if I can get everything done. On to a 2004 OB Littlemill 12– the veteran bartender said the bottle’s been on the backbar the entire time and this was the second to last pour. Oxidation has only served to improve this one.
