My wonderful wife organised a birthday cake of, well, spectacular proportions, much to my surprise. Along with a bottle of the stuff it was inspired by. Only the topper is inedible, but I thought you guys would enjoy it. Cheers! Holy Moly, that is awesome! You’re a lucky man!

StarSurfer55
Having a bit more of the EC BP. Having a terrible time with knee pain. I believe that I have torn my meniscus in my right knee. Had one in my left knee a few years back so I know that I will need to have it scoped. Unfortunately, I don’t know if they will do a elective procedure now.

Wow, coinky-dink. batch WT-03RB is what I'm drinking on back deck waiting for hurricane zeta. Right now weather is wonderful, warm with humidity. expecting to get slammed with rain tomorrow. I used this WTRB in a taste test couple weeks ago with no trouble, after it sat on shelf for long time. But tonight cork crumbled and while showing daughter how to get a cork out with swiss army knife, things didn't go well and have about 1/3 cork in 1 chunk floating in bottle. Had plenty of spare corks on hand so all's good.

Patrick_OKC
Continuing to work the bunker. Finally opened a 1792FP that I bought in 2017 from True Spirits in Plano, TX. They closed shortly thereafter, but I think I have some Old Forester Single Barrel from them too. Pat

Clueby
Continuing on tonight with the '16 OWA. Man it's even better to tonight. It has "that" nose that I love in the BT wheaters. It's that warm leather smell. Hard to describe but I always know it when I smell it.

Hard to describe but I always know it when I smell it. The first time I toured BT was on a very warm fall day during the KBF back in 2008. I was hot, tired and sweaty by the time we reached Warehouse C at the end of the tour. The door was opened and we went in. Ahhhhh heaven. Aside from the soothing coolness, the aroma was absolutely amazing and wonderful. It’s something I’ll never forget. A slightly musty, earthy smell with oak, leather, and bourbon/Angels share, amongst other things. Like I said, heaven. Biba! Joe
GeeTen
L&K Pick of Wyoming Bourbon ("Rooster" - really nice wheater, BTW)) in my late night coffee with a couple of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies from granddaughters #1 & 2. They're in their new house in Lexington, MA after getting out of the co-op in Park Slope, Brooklyn. They love their new house, kitchen, school, neighborhood, etc. etc. So glad they're here near us now . . . . . . . .

StarSurfer55
Having some Belle Meade cognac finished bourbon tonight. Right knee is swollen and painful. I get into my orthopedic on November 13. I anticipate that the knee will need arthroscopic surgery to clean up the meniscus. Gettin old sucks.

B.B. Babington
EWSB while watching Adam Sandler "Hubie" Halloween movie. VERY Funny movie with tons of unexpected stars. You might not recognize all the disney people but shaq, buscemi, liotta and others you'll recognize. Somehow I downed half bottle while laughing through the move. I feel remorse for overindulgence so will continue with bottle to get over it.

Patrick_OKC
The weekend is upon us, so I reached for a bottle I have not sampled in a long while, Fighting Cock 6 year. Okay, but not spectacular to my taste buds. Helped by a dollop of water. Pat
