What foreign whiskey/whisky are you drinking 2021?

I'm having some Old Smuggler.

5 hrs in the backyard blowing leaves and cutting the grass.  Now on the patio with a Redbreast 12, an Aquitaine Cromagnon, and enjoying a fire in a nice fall afternoon. This Redbreast is REALLY good.

My pops use to drink this.  Ha this was probably his more high end scotch.  He also drank something that I think was called Cutty Shark which was a cheap knock off of Cutty Sark but that may not be accurate.

I picked up the Old Smuggler because Ralfy gave it a good review.  It's become something I have now and then.  There are several other blends he liked that are not available locally to me, so still on the hunt.

Finally cracked open a Glenlivet 12 Illicit Still I picked up a while ago; dang, is it good. I will be picking up at least one more of these!

Crown Royal Winter Wheat release from their Noble Collection in the glass tonight.  I’ve been a fan of this LR series from Crown, so picked up a bottle today.  51% Winter Wheat/39% Corn/10% Barley Mashbill aged in Charred American Oak.  They call it a blended Canadian whiskey, which I take as each of the grains are distilled separately and then blended together.  But, the label write up is not so clear on this.  Regardless, this tastes nothing like a typical Canadian blend.  None.  At all.  While the Mashbill would suggest a wheat whiskey, it is very bourbon-y, and very good.  Early tasting is bringing forth a lot of burnt sugar and baking spice notes, and a healthy punch above its 90 proof point.  I look forward to getting in to this more.

some great scotch and interesting extra-anejo.  2 higher proofers.  glendronach 18 is amazing.  Don't remember having Oban 18 so looking forward to it.  3 Hibiki 2021 limited of which I will open at least 2 & save 1 for posterity.  But check the tequila extra-anejo.  The 1 on far left was most expensive bottle in the pick at about $170.  The 1800 is a sleeper and I'm anxious to try, they sell as simple anejo but it's 8-10 years.  The Chihuahua in the center I've looked for 6 months and l got lucky today
