Joe I feel often that folks and taters need reminding that every palate (or pallet on some of yalls) Is different and different at different times under different circumstances. Likely even sipping on Ice water VS warm water VS sparkling water may have a hefty influence on our perceptions. Blind tastings illuminate the hefty influence of marketing and expectations. I tell the (boring) story about how my pops served me fish sticks BUT TOLD me they were MOZZARELLA sticks. I got out some marinara and dipped those suckers and thought they were cheesy and delicious and thanked him for the fried mozz. Of course he just raised his eyebrows and admitted they were fish sticks And then I had to sit down for a minute to understand what had happened. Brains are a funny thing.
