I couldn't pass up a 1L BT for $26.99. The other 2 bottles are picks. They let you "try before you buy" Why is the BT wrapped in plastic? To protect the bottle from your drool?

Yeah...that was kinda odd...I brought 2 wine wings to get the bottles home safely in our luggage, (and I bought 3 bottles),so the guy said he would wrap one for me. I chose the BT, because the liter bottle won't fit in a wine wing, so he wrapped it in plastic. I guess I'll stick it in the bag of dirty clothes and hope that the baggage handlers don't treat our bags like the Samsonite monkeys....

It disappears occasionally and then shows up like a Caitlyn Clark is being mistreated story. I could sometimes get standard BT even several bucks cheaper than $25 - if it's in stock during a sale. Last time I passed. Nothing wrong with it. I simply prefer other things.

We are in a different time.

It’s usually something like “produced by”. Regardless, nice color on it. “Produced and bottled by”

It gives me pause to determine if they distill any whiskey themselves. I met a rep of theirs at my local monger several years ago, and I asked him if the bourbon he was pouring was distilled by them. He said that it was. I don’t know if that was accurate, but I could tell he did believe it. If it is theirs, they should change produced to distilled , as produced does not necessarily mean distilled. But, who really gives a flip if it’s good! Right?!
markandrex
I am a fan. I went down there a few years ago and everyone I spoke with was very personable. Very proud of their products and not hesitant to share. Their master distiller made a statement that they have all of their products distilled to their specifications and then age it in Ga. I would feel safe in saying their gin and vodka are distilled on site (by the look of the column still on site). Personally I will judge them by the taste and not internet chatter. After 50 years in this hobby, I drink for the taste. Edited June 7, 2024 by markandrex

JCwhammie
I was traveling out of town for my 25 year class reunion this weekend. I decided to go to Sam's for fuel and a restroom break. Thankfully I decided to also check their bourbon. MMCS for $30!!! Yes, please.
