I havent seen a bottle of Baracdi Spice in years.!!!!

I picked it up in a Duty Free store on my way to my honeymoon on the Cayman Islands. I didn't know any better. It isn't bad - don't get me wrong - I just think I could have done better for the same price with a smaller label.

We have (or, at least, did the last time I remember noticing a month or so ago) a single bottle here in Middle Tennessee that may be one of the last bits of original stock from the store's opening in August 2001. It doesn't really fly of the shelves here:lol: . I guess we won't know if it's still available until when/if we try to reorder it after it sells.

I see what you're saying, but...I look at it like this.  Who enjoys a great glass of whiskey more -- a guy who's basking in the sun at the edge of his pool, or a guy who's basking in the warmth of his fireplace when the temp is 25 outside?  I rate it about a tossup.

Finally getting moved into the new house - one requirement was a Bar area in the basement - so far so good

 

Still unpacking but bar was early on the list to get done!  Have not even leveled all the cabinet doors  

 

Cabinets give me ample space for my bunker - but now that I have more room it will need filled

My new (to me anyway) bar cabinet. I hope to get it filled up this week and move everything from my old cabinet. The guy said he had it made while living in Hong Kong in the 80s. Its HEAVY. The old cabinet will he getting cleaned and going up for sale.
The wall and baseboard trim goes up Tuesday. Our 6 month remodel is almost complete. A couple more weeks of moving stuff around.

WOW, just WOW.  A beautiful piece of handiwork in wood.  Congrats!  Can I come to your house and share a dram if I bring a nice L&K bottle next February (SEC Swimming Championships at Mizzou)?

Beautiful piece of woodworking.  It looks good in the pictures but think how much better it will look when stocked with bottles of bourbon.
