Their 10 year old Kinsey whiskey is so good, when I have money I always buy it. Any one who would like a tour there just go to their web site and call them and say I told you to Call and they will take care of you. Their Distillery is Beautiful and I am Proud to have been able to give them History and information about Kinsey and Publicker Ind.! And I am Proud to Know them as Friends! Hoping by the Help of Friends who Watch Kinsey to get a Little walk around the Place. Been staying home Because the stuff going Home Getting Close to 73 years old in Sept. Going to post some Pictures here to day Miss those days Back in the day. Pictures 1. The Old Kinsey Bottling House Known as Happy House By the Ladies who went to this small special place where Brandies and Famous Café Lolita were Made. This was Built by Jacob G Kinsey in around 1936. And was Used till 1980's when the Plant stopped Bottling Whiskey. The rest of these Pictures are in the building. 2. Special Tanks for Bottling Liquor Bottling 3. Where the stairs to the second floor was. Will be posting some more Picts as Blasts from the past Soon. It is Very Beautiful and so Clean I sealed it in a sealed Zip Bag and put it on My Shelf with my other Bottles. I Just Love it. Here are 2 Pictures of it. The old Kinsey Maintenance barn is Burned down now. 2. The First Warehouse Jake Kinsey built Warehouse A had to rise and lower Barrels with a Chain Lift. I helped clean the last Barrels out No Elevator you had to clime a wooden Ladder Built around late 1800's 3. Tanks used in the Old Kinsey Bottle house for making Liquors. this bottling house was used until Publicker went out of Business. 4. Warehouse H built 1936 by Jake Kinsey the last one he ever built. 5. The Kinsey Bottling house built after 1933 end of Prohiibition People who in there Called it Happy House. The Sharpless Evaporating Unit. 2. Picture of Si S Neumans Home He renamed it Inver house when he bought it. 3. Here is a Picture of the Number 1 Picture Now. 4. Picture of the first of 3 1/2 Million Gal tanks that used to be on the Hill going up through the Plant they are now gone for Scrap By the owners son. Picture taken by me May 1 2011. 4. Picture of the Kinsey Fire Observation Tower on top of One of the Explosion Warehouses. Back of the Tanker Weight Station Rail Tankers would be Pulled all the way to the Back and whiskey Pumped into Tanks and weight till everything was done and it was Pumped to some very Large tanks down in the woods. 2. & 3. Note the windows on each side of the building back faced the East, Front Faced The West so they would have Natural Lighting in AM & PM. These Pictures are Also from Nov 2008 When Things were not so badly ruined yet. Vosgar/Gary developed an interest in older memorabilia, historical articles, and older bottles and such, a few years ago. I passed along a few of the items you sent me to him. Sadly, Gary passed away last year. I believe his brother in law now has the items in his possession. Rest assured they are in good hands.
