Last night I stomped my two brother-in-laws in poker and while doing that, I was enjoying some 1980 Early Times KSBW.

Last night at OscarV's it was Old Taylor 86 (ND), Weller 12 Binny's bottle, Old Charter 10 Louisville, Rebel Reserve, Old Crow (ND) and some others that I'm sure I missed!

Eagle Rare 101. My "past" tells me that I prefer the newer ERSB, to the ER 101. But tonight, I'm not so sure. It sure is tasting fine. I will do a comparison between the two tomorrow, and hopefully come to a decision.

Weller SR and now Some 2007 Stagg to kill off a cold that's starting in my throat. The Stagg is doing the job.

Next-to-last pour from my first 60's Old Taylor (it's OK... it's not my next-to-last Castle decanter!)

Had a pour of '08 ER17 right upon getting home. Nose reminded me very much of Lot 'B' actually -- must be the wood and BT yeast or something . . . taste had that cognac-y thing I sometimes get -- very nice & smooth with plenty of yummy wood. Now I'm slumming down to a JTS Brown BIB & reading Robinson Crusoe.

First drink in about a week. Fighting a cold and sore throat but figured I would go ahead and try a wee dram. OC12 is tasting pretty good....even with the phlegm! :skep:
