OscarV
Yesterday after Easter dinner I did a wheater flight.Started with WLWeller Special Reserve, moved up to Old Rip Van Winkle 10/107,then went with Van Winkle Family Reseve Lot Band to top it off I had a 2006 William Larue Weller that really out-classed them all. OscarV
Old Grand-Dad BIB, neat. This is really fun stuff, and I gotta say that it has to be older than four years.IF it is only four years old,... then I owe Beam an apology.
ggilbertva
I was chatting with Jake Parrott not too long ago and he said the same thing about OGB BIB. He thought it was a much improved pour from previous years.
docbible
I started the evening with WLW 08 after dinner. I enjoy the flavor but could do without the burn and slightly less wood. I then switchtd to a pour of pappy 20, a very different animal. The smooth lighter profile at a reduced proof better suites my taste buds. Its good to end the day on a good note. tim
